We have a problem with the spring

This set of tongs has a rating of 2 stars because the material from which they are made seems sturdy and heavy, but the locking mechanism is stuck and the tongs themselves will not open. You have to manually separate them in order to open Those that are closed stay that way once they are closed. It's back to work for them.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how good these tongs are. Meats that are heavy will hold well in the basket. Take care not to Handle in wood is nice. The products I bought were excellent and I would buy them again.
