One star is taken away for the dumb sticker that can't be easily taken off. The companies make me peel off stupid stickers on items that require me to use goo gone to remove and have to peel them off 100 pieces at a time. I can peel it off dummies if it can be made that way. Since everything causes cancer probably from the stupid sticker you put on, shouldn't it come with a warning sticker if that is the case? What happens when it stops.
Cuisinart is a brand I trust, so I went with these locking grill tongs over competing brands. In spite of this, the first time I used the tongs, I believed the inside coil section of the handles was dirty, because when I dried the tongs after washing, there was a brown stain on the towel. It turned out that this was the beginning of rust, and when the tongs were dried after the third use, the stain was clearly visible. While the rust is not as obvious as it used to be, I had to live with the fact that the inside edge of the handle is very sharp, so it must be taken care not to cut myself when drying the inside.
I used these tongs at the grill because they seem to be quite durable and work well around a hot fire. But I made sure they functioned properly before using them. The tongs were right next to the grill when I went outside. I clicked the tongs three solid times when my arm was mostly fully extended. During this test, these tongs felt smooth and effortless in the hand, and I am happy to say that they passed the pre-test. You can test your cooking by eating it.
Cuisinart's kitchen thongs were very popular with me and I used them for many They have nothing in common with those in design, quality, or anything of the sort. I urge you not to remove my review from Amazon. I have 12 inch kitchen tongs that weigh 6 oz and are 6 inches wide. There are 15 inches in length and they weigh half an ounce less!.
When grilling with them, I like them a lot. I can comfortably hold them and the handle is long enough so that my fingers and hands won't get burned.

The packaging for these products is horrible. I like the tongs themselves - they're good quality, nice size, and have an excellent hook and locking mechanism. The reason I gave it only four stars is because I bought this as a gift, but it arrived without a tag, no wrapper, no label, it was dirty, and the stainless steel had finger prints on it That's embarrassing when it comes to giving gifts.
