The number of tongs you have in your home is never enough. The only complaint I have is that the boots are a little stiff but I think that will improve as they are used. I think it's worth the price for sure.

To replace a set I had loved for several years and had just about worn out, I decided to order this set of tongs. these for everything from mixing salads to turning fried chicken in a hot pan where they had a hard surface to removing tin foil from a baking dish in the oven, so when they started to fall apart, I threw them out immediately. My conclusion is that these are just OK, although I was disappointed with the small size of the heads. My preference is to use other sets since they have a slightly larger gripping area, which means items won't slip away. In addition, the edges don't meet perfectly or securely, so there is a lot of pressure needed to grip the product The silicone does not touch when it's closed because of the design and the arc that allows only one side of the silicone at a time to touch. I'll say it again While it's not the end of the world, it makes these less convenient and a bit more challenging While the inside is smooth, a simple 1/2" of rougher edging could have made it easier to grip, and the blunt tip does not allow it to be used for picking up smaller objects. It's more a matter of personal preference that I have, however, my biggest criticism It takes two hands to pull the lock since it is at the top (one hand to grip the tong, and one hand to pull it). It's funny, because I had grown accustomed to using the kind with the thumb slide, that when I realized that these required a second hand to lock the grip, I became extremely frustrated. If you are looking for quite simple and fairly inexpensive tongs, these are going to do the job. Although an upgrade set that avoids all the flaws mentioned above will cost a few dollars more, there are others out there.

These Sawpy Stainless Steel Silicone Tipped Kitchen Tongs have blown me away. In addition to the tongs, I use each kind of utensil more than the others. This set is a replacement for the old ones that became worn out. Over the course of my life I have owned a good number of different cooking tool types. These are by far the best. An advantage of these locks is that they don't have sliders to close them, instead they have levers near the springs that are pulled to release them. The tongs are now easier to use, and I don't have to worry about a ring slipping into my way while using them. It helps prevent scratches on the cooking surfaces of pans due to the silicone tips. It is a set of tongs I highly recommend. There seems to be a high level of anxiety about them They are not only an excellent value, but also a good end product. My review has been read.
