I have not done so.
They're made of stainless steel, by the way. The dishwasher will not harm them in any way. Or are you inquiring as to whether or not they will cause damage to your dishwasher? If the dishwasher is properly loaded, no.
Stainless steel, according to my understanding, is oven safe, so I would say yes.
They're ideal for small plates of food!

Food does not roll on them, and they are easy to clean. I enjoy kabobs and needed a skewer that would fit in my NuWave Primo oven as well as my Ninja Foodi oven/grill/air fryer. My Ninja Foodi Grill can hold up to 6 loaded skewers. You can fill them up to the point where one or two full containers of food will suffice for the majority of people. I also wanted skewers that would fit in a NuWave oven rack, which I can easily fit 6-skewers in. On the 4" rack, there are 8 of these. The fact that these skewers are flat rather than round is one of my favorite features. When you turn the skewers full of food, the food on them will not rotate. Even tomatoes can be pierced with the pointed end without being smashed. I also like how easily food can be slid off the skewer and onto a bed of rice or a plate. Even though no food has ever stuck to them, I clean them by wiping them down and sterilizing them in the dishwasher. They come out gleaming and spotless, ready to be used again. Tenderloin steak marinated overnight with a rub or seasonings and cut into 2" cubes, bell pepper cut into two inch cubes, onion cut into wedges about 2" wide, large cherry tomatoes, and lightly cooked bacon cut into quarters are all ingredients in my favorite kabob. Alternate the ingredients on the skewers before placing them on the NuWave oven's rack. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 8 minutes at 50/50. Serve with rice pilaf as a side dish. This recipe is delicious and adaptable to a variety of ovens and cooking methods. br>br>07/25/20 UPDATE: br>Because I'd never tried fish kabobs before, I decided to make them tonight in my Ninja Foodi Grill/Oven. I used filets of cod, but any firm fish will suffice. The recipe is simple to follow, and the end result is fantastic.
- In a gallon baggie, whisk together 3/4 cup soy sauce, 3/4 cup lemon juice, and 3/4 cup oil (I used olive oil).
- Cut 3 6 ounce cod filets, 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, and 1 large onion into 1 1/2" cubes or wedges and place them in the baggie with the marinade you made earlier. Allow 4 hours for the fish and vegetables to marinate. br> On the skewers, alternate fish, vegetables, pineapple wedges, and cherry tomatoes. You can either grill the skewers on the Ninja Foodi Grill at 500 degrees for 4 minutes per side or barbecue them on a medium high heat for 3 minutes per side. br>br>This recipe yielded 6 packed skewers and leftovers of everything. As a result, this recipe will easily fill ten or more skewers. This was served over quinoa, wild rice, and basmati brown rice, all of which I cooked ahead of time and frozen. I put the leftovers in the freezer to reheat in a wok or cast iron pan at a later date. br>br>Skewers are included in the Ninja Foodi Grill/Oven, but they are round and rotate with the food. These skewers are a lot more appealing to me. They're the same size as the Foodi skewers in terms of length. I also use these skewers in my NuWave Primo Grill oven, which allows me to fit more food skewers in there. br>br>I hope you found this review useful.
By the way, I really like this item. It's the perfect size for my Airfryer. br>br>However, the people who responded to my question about the actual length of the item, including the ring, if I choose the 10" option have irritated me. Some dunderhead replied that it was 11 o'clock. Add 5" or just 1". Those are both unhelpful and incorrect. My simple recommendation is as follows: if you're not sure; Simply put, do not respond. The truth is that if you buy a 10" one - It measures 10" in total length, including the ring. That's all I have to say on the subject. If the manufacturer/trader describes it clearly in the first place, this question will not arise. I'd recommend it to them as well.
Those skewers are great, but after a few uses, I'm having to admit defeat. Their tip is shaped like a triangle, and it's designed to keep the meat in place after it's been pierced and threaded onto the skewer. Well. There are two issues. To begin with, it makes it dangerous to use because the meat must be pushed to the skewer, which frequently results in a sudden forward movement - after you've dug a hole - which has the potential to drive the skewer's tip into your own hands I tried a variety of methods, including two ridiculous contraptions to keep my hands away from the tip, but they were ineffective. It begs the question, WHY are the tips so large? These are 8" skewers that are very small. It's unlikely that they'll be forced to transport the meat in such a way that it slips away! The tip of the spear should be half as wide as it is now - It would also save money for the manufacturer. Second, the tip is so large that when it makes a hole in the meat, the meat spins loose due to the excessively large hole. Because the meat is partially debouched from the skewer, this is a problem when turning the kebabs to cook on all sides. Another common problem is a little different. If the meat is cold, or if you've refrigerated the skewers with the meat to cook later, the metal skewers will stay cold for a long time after being refrigerated. This results in uneven cooking when compared to using wooden skewers. Because the temperature difference is significant enough to make a difference, I'm experimenting with leaving the meat out to warm up before cooking rather than letting it spoil. I will continue to use these skewers because they are eco-friendly, easy to clean, and extremely durable. That tip, on the other hand, is a problem, and I'm afraid I'll end up with one of my own fingers on my kebab, which would be extremely unpleasant.
I was happily surprised! Because these are sharp, piercing meats and vegetables to push onto the stem is a breeze. It's long enough to grill with. And, what's more, to give metal a new lease on life? After each use, wipe the surface with wax paper. This not only makes it easier for the food to slide onto the skewer, but it also helps to keep the food from sticking to the skewer. It also polishes them to keep them from rusting, crusting, or dulling!.
I was grilling chicken thighs for a large group, and the small skewers made it simple to grill and serve everyone at the same time. I have standard skewers that I still use for kabobs, but these little guys are perfect for other occasions. At the end, I found them to be quite sharp, and they appear to clean up easily.
Their oval shape keeps meat and vegetables secure when turning, and the cooked product is easy to remove. For even roasting, I recommend using an air fryer rack insert. Cooking without having to turn items halfway through a cycle is also possible with the use of a rack. They're also useful on the grill for grilling pineapple chunks or other items that only require a small amount of heat. They don't hold a lot of food due to their small size. Longer skewers, on the other hand, can be found. I just wish they came with a storage bag, or at the very least a velcro wrap and a sharpening tool. protectors at the end.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm glad I didn't get the wooden ones instead. The package arrived quickly, and I received all 12 of them. I'm going to keep these for a long time because they're so durable. Customer who is happy.
