Bamboo skewers have been around for a long time. Even after soaking for a day, they would quickly burn. These skewers are made of metal and are very durable. The meat and vegetables were quite large, and the skewer held them in place without bending. There was no spinning of any of the food items as the entire platter rotated. I'm considering purchasing a second set.

It's a great value for the money. The basting brush was a pleasant surprise, and the small recipe pamphlet appears to be a good source of easy appetizer ideas.
