Because my unit is sheltered under a roof overhang, I have not had to worry about getting a wet prep station. If rain runs down the front of the unit and hits the unit straight from above, it won't leak, but if rain runs straight down the side and hits the unit from above, I would say the doors are not sealed tight. In the event of rain or dampness, inside items may become damp.
As a matter of fact, I think the product is way overpriced and During my research before purchasing this item, I read other reviews and thought it might be nice. There's nothing wrong with it, but I would not put anything on top of it other than plates. As of now, no other companies make a better or stronger product. The product is clearly selling because it has no realistic competition, but I believe it is pretty junky for the price. Since the entire product is plastic, I wouldn't put anything on top of it that could generate heat, so cooking with an electric grill isn't an option. If the product were sturdy, I would be willing to spend more money on it. There is no point in paying for this one. After looking back, I probably would not have bought this product. Having said that, I agree with not putting too much weight on the extension. In the past, someone has asked if the cart is waterproof. It is a sturdy cart, and in the past, someone asked if it was waterproof. In our case, we moved it outside in the weather and the doors were firmly closed so there was no water leakage during a rainstorm.
Do you need some help? A BBQ cover is what I use, and it works well for me.

I called customer service and they ordered me a new door after they told me it was the door. A few days later, I looked at the door again, and I saw that it was bowing at the lower left corner that had As a result, I called back and requested the panels on the left side. Again, Suncast pulls it off Perfect! I was looking for just this! This "Outdoor Prep Station" by Suncast puts a new spin on the old concept. A lot of Suncast gear lives in my garage and I enjoy it a lot. The bag is made of plastic, but it is very durable Prep stations, including this one, are not exceptions. What I had in mind was exactly what you wrote. A special design I purchased for my Big Green Egg enables it to be transported from the garage to the porch, rather than being permanently mounted in an expensive table. This BGE is in a residential area The "Nest" has heavy locking casters that are 4 inches wide. Having some working space was important, since I needed a place to prepare food and stage items as well as store BGE equipment like the pacesetter and tools. Luckily, my Suncast prep station was large enough to accommodate both, plus it gave me an old aluminum folding chair as well. The only thing to watch out for is the following. Suncast products are ingenious in how they combine, but the assembly is not always intuitive. The instructions are usually quite good, however. DO NOT FORCED ANYTHING. Be sure to follow the steps they suggest exactly. You're doing it wrong if you have to force something. Despite that, these instructions were actually incorrect! Using the right side panel would be the best way to begin the build. Despite my best efforts, I was not able to make that method work. I started with the LEFT side panel, and wham bam, thank you ma'am, I assembled the box just the way I expected it. Suncast's instructions are usually better than most, but this one was different. At the moment, we had only a wooden table with two tiers, which was of limited value and didn't have much storage space. It took me about an hour to build this prep stand. Assembly results in doors that shut tightly. While I noticed some pieces were slightly damaged when I removed them from the box, but the furniture is going outside in the weather, so it won't be a problem. It did not include any instructions, so we went to Suncast's website to see what it said and to find As far as the top handle was concerned, I have run into only one issue because one end of it did not fit properly into the molded indentation that was needed to screw on the nut and washer. The tip of the metal handle had to be ground down using our bench grinder before I could get the washer and nut on it. I am happy now that it is together. It is a little unclear how the table extensions will hold up since they seem to be quite flimsy, but, for the most part, I am pleased with my.
