There is no way we personally know who runs our large green egg since it sits on a table, not a stand. While our neighbor had theirs on a stand, they had to carry it over a lip of cement in their garage to slide it in and out. It's so heavy, it once tipped over and they

As long as the support arm fit against it, it was appropriate.
Our assumption is that it will work for the original kamado as well. You can give it a try.

The original cart nest for my Vision ceramic grill did not Despite being a little more difficult to assemble, this one seems to be a lot more durable. When I moved the grill from the original nest, it was a bit top heavy and I had to be careful when I did so. This is not true with this new nest. The grill does not feel top heavy at all.
As an added benefit, you do not have to bend down to grill, as the grill will come to your level.
I found this product to be just what I needed for my large business. I have the perfect work surface to cook on with this nest and my two side trays without having to shell out the high cost The nest fit the large egg perfectly and it rolls very easily on my concrete patio even when it is wet. I think it is a great value if you do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a table and you just need a nest to hold a large egg. I was able to assemble this product with the help of instructions. The purchase has been a great success for me.
Thanks to the snug fit and good functionality of the large nest, I can report good results. There is a much better wheel mount design, and it feels much more stable. I also liked the fact that the product was well packaged, arrived in good condition, and has instructions that are easy to understand. In terms of quality and smoothness, the wheels were also a nice surprise. All in all, this was a great purchase.
If 78-year-old grandmother can put it together, so can you. I'd like to share a few tips. The bolts should not be tightened until the assembly is complete. This can be done with your finger. The wheels were the most difficult part, because both ends have to weave through three layers of metal. That is why I kept extra screwdrivers around so I could align them while I fitted the bottom crossbars (this is why I did not tighten I think it looks great when it's finished. Now to get my 81-year-old hubby to help me put the large BGE into it (it has to be disassembled beforehand, I really like the look of this.
I purchased the Vision egg type grill as I was moving my egg, my original OEM cart broke in the center on the bottom side of the grill luckily I was able to retrieve my egg without damage. Having said that, I liked the cart, it arrived well packaged, was easy to assemble, and weighs three times as much as the OEM cart, which was held together in the middle by a broken cross piece. I would recommend buying this cart to anyone moving an egg style grill.
In addition, the thin wrench that holds the built-in nut for the casters is missing. It's a real pain to pack it all back up and there is no contact information on the instruction sheet. The support bar will have to be made by me.
There was a leaf on each side of my original cart. As a result, I have to fabricate leaf brackets for the new cart since there is no place for them on this.
