Weber 7130 Genesis II Cover, Black

There is no secure cover for my grill, so it is always wet from rain. From Home Depot, I purchased my Weber Grill cover with the expectation that this would be of the same quality as the first original Weber Cover I had purchased. I bought this item in 2017, and it is a really flimsy flimsy plastic (like a cheap plastic with very little strength). I'd be surprised if it's thick or heavy like the one I purchased at Home Depot because it blows, makes a lot of noise, and flies away in a strong wind. " It definitely don't look like it's thick or heavy. You are better off buying something you can feel the thickness of, before purchasing, because this is not the right item for you. I've had friends feel my old cover versus my new cover, and they also said the one I bought online is much thinner and cheaper than the old one. It is not worth the risk!.

That cheap, flimsy piece of crap is going to tear or crack in less than three It would be best if I gave this product ZERO stars. This is a cheap, flimsy product. The reason Weber allowed their name to be put on this is beyond me. My previous website ordered the Weber 7553 Premium Cover in 2013 and I was delighted with it. The thick vinyl shielded my grill from the elements, and it was lined with thick foam. The 7553 has held up very well for 5 years in Maryland, where in the summer it can get up to 100 degrees with 90% humidity and in the winter, it can get down to single digits with snow. It is already March, and I have a faded and cracked cover on this 7130 replacement. That will never happen.

A change in this cover has occurred over the last few years and it is now made out My new one had a 2" hole in the seam when I got it a couple of weeks ago. Furthermore, the grill is also short around the edges, so almost 6" inches of the bottom are Due to the Weber logo on it, it's not as useful as it should be considering how much it costs.

Often times I removed it when it was frozen stiff and it never ripped, but the original had a lining that felt like felt that gave it a more flexible feel, especially since it had a lining that seemed soft and felt like felt. There is no way this would be able to remain intact when Upon contacting Weber directly, I asked if they had one of better quality or similar to my old one, and they assured me that it should last a long time. It will be interesting to see what happens.

In the past, I had a Weber cover on my Genesis 1000 grill. 13 years ago, I wore it perfectly and it was the perfect fit. There was a bit of wear on it. To check whether this fits my model, I put the model number into the web page, but it says that it cannot be sure. Weber advised me to use this one, so I contacted them. * * * This is 4 inches wide, so it should be easier to put on with an extra 2 inches on each side. Although it's a lot thinner than my old one, it packs up more easily and is a lot harder to work with than my old one. The old one had multiple layers, but this one doesn't seem to be as well made. In the old version, there was also a rectangular window, but I'm not sure if it helped, but this version does not have one. It is not possible for me to guess how long this will last, but the price has almost doubled, and the quality has declined. I don't know if paying for the name brand was worth it this time. But, it works, and I put it away to see how long it will last.

My love for Weber grills goes back to my introduction to charcoal grills 30 years ago, and I have yet to be disappointed by the quality or performance of these grills. As I am on my third cover for this grill, I notice that the time between covers is getting shorter and shorter. It hasn't torn yet, but it is certainly fading. A Weber cover should look better than this in the weather if you spend the money on an OEM Weber cover. This is the product I bought on June 29, 2018 from Amazon, I wanted something new for the 4th of July celebration I was hosting. Having followed Weber for 8 months, it appears that his work is still not up to the mark.

I bought a genesis ii grill and needed a cover for it. There is a bit less material in this cover than in other Weber covers. However, I have had it for about a month, and it is still intact. It will be tested over time to see if it will hold up. EDITOR'S NOTE The new cover is much thinner than my old Weber cover, as I mentioned. I was putting the cover on my grill today when it caught a sharp edge on the back of the top and tore a 6" hole in it. In my opinion, old style covers would have been less likely to occur. Reviewed with a 3 star rating.

In order to replace the original cover for my Weber Genesis S310, I purchased this cover. In the original cover, canvas was used--it was very heavy The fabric was like fabric, but after nearly a decade it was cracked, and it had to be replaced. The new cover does not seem to be very impressive to me at first. There is a lot less canvas in this cover, more like nylon. My grill was hot the day before we had an autumn storm that brought record rainfall for the date (quite a feat for Seattle). Despite the eaves of the roof covering only a small portion of my deck, my grill is on my deck. After three days of rain, I am thrilled to discover that the grill is dry after being covered! As far as I could tell, no rain had gotten through and no condensation had formed. I would therefore rate this cover a 5 out of 10 It is rare for me to receive a 5-star review. It will take some time to tell if I need to change my impression, but for now, I am very happy with the service. For now, I cannot comment on the durability or longevity of the cover, but I am very pleased with the first impression.
