My order for this item was placed on 3/19/2020 (during the age of the corona) and this item came in perfectly, even if I just purchased a Weber 1200 series. I give this purchase a
You can opt to cover only the metal part with this Weber 7110 Grill Cover for Q 100/1000 Series Gas Grills, or you can cover both parts.
I'm not sure if there was ever a plan to cover a 1lb tank with it. While the knob can be removed easily (pulled out), it works fine even if it is left

In terms of size, Weber makes two kinds of "Q" covers. Details can be found here. It's important to note that Weber makes 2 sizes of "Q" covers. It fits the Q2200 size grill and is 12" wide. It is part #7111 and is the "big" cover. This print measures 18"H by 6"W. The size of the band is 9" wide by 32" long. This model is 3D. This is the Q1200 size cover that is 12 inches wide and 12 inches high. The size of the piece is 4" x 17". The surface area is 3 inches x 26 inches. A 3D model. Those who want the "big" cover are most likely to like it since it's easy to mount on the Q1200 series and it still fits The grill covers contain UV inhibitors so they resist fading, are breathable, and are water resistant to help protect the grill from the elements. The drawstring keeps the grill cover in place. It fits well in place, but it's pretty tight for the Q1200 and I must admit it's a tight fit. A larger cover might be worth the cost if I were to do it again. This should be of some help.
This is not as good as the old one, made of lesser quality and lighter material and barely enough material to cover the grill, but not with enough to cover the regulator as well. This needs to be seriously considered for return. Anyone with more substantial information is welcome to join the conversation and share it. It is quite generous to award 3 stars to this product.
What's up with saying that this doesn't fit the Weber Q There were no reviews that came over the shelves, according to one review. What the heck? Since the shelves fold inside the grill, the BBQ ends up not being bigger than a Q-tip A new Q-70 came into my possession just now These covers and 1200 are both from the same period. Exactly what I wanted. Wouldn't it make sense that it should? The product is made by WEBER.
There is no way for the cover to fit over and around. The top of the grill as seen in the picture! As I shuffled the cover from side to side, I made sure to cover the grill to the best of my ability, and at one point I let the adjustment nozzle on the grill (to the right) hang outside the cover. It would be a good idea for friends to do their research and look at measurements, rather than solely rely on reviews.
A strong gust of wind took my Q1400's cover recently while I was cooking and I didn't secure it after removing it. Since I didn't secure it, a strong gust of wind took it. purchased a replacement here on Amazon right away. does not even come close to the classic. Compared to the older version, the old one was much more durable- Vinyl material that is heavier and thicker. A much thinner construction is used in this version - The nylon used in umbrellas is more like this. It is definitely disappointing that this version is constructed/constructed with inferior materials.
In spite of having owned many of Weber's products over the past 40 years, including a few excellent grill covers, this cover does not live up to the quality I've come to expect. There are many negative comments in the list of "Top Reviews" here, and I have to agree with many of them. As a result, I won't repeat what they said, but I strongly encourage you to read their report and trust it. This is a rare occasion for me where I return an item to get my money back, but I wish I had given them more credibility before I purchased this cover. Despite the fact that it does not cover the grill completely, not even reaching to the bottom of the short legs, this cover will not protect it from the elements. Dust covers may be dust covers, but rain or snow covers are not. There are also so many screws in this handle that the gas control knob is forced into the small hole. The switch is turned on. It may present a safety risk. Another reviewer, David121, commented on this issue on May 27, 2018. According to someone named “Weber Grills”, I assume the manufacturer must be responsible for that complaint There is no need to cover up the control knob with this cover. Is that so? How can it be that one of the most important and delicate components of the grill is not protected? I don't see the point in that. Saying a cheap shirt isn't meant to cover your shoulders is like saying cheap shirts don't cover your The Weber Corp. is choosing to use corporate doublespeak, perhaps motivated by greed, that is offensive to me and other loyal customers, and should be embarrassing to the company. You must understand that I'm not condemning all Weber products, but this grill cover in particular. It is a cover for my Weber Q1200 grill, which arrived today as well. It does appear that the Q1200 is in good condition The design and execution are outstanding So far I have not used it, but I am sure I will soon. In order to stay optimistic, I am trying to remain positive. The following are two UPDATES for the 6/3/2020 date *1) I did use the Weber Q1200 Grill last night and was very pleased with it. Obviously, its durability will have to be assessed at a later date! As for a protective cover for this Q1200, I used one I bought 5 years ago for a little Weber Jumbo Joe 18" charcoal kettle grill in the basement, which is now retired. It's been kept outdoors through rain, snow, and sun for 365 days a year and is still in good condition. On the Q1200, it did what it should have done last night - rained. A similar bonnet cover for the Q1200 was made from much stronger material than this Weber 7110 Bonnet Cover, and it fit the Q1200 perfectly. If it's helpful, here is a link to the Amazon page for the The size and quality of the Q1200 should be fine today, but I cannot vouch for its quality. This Classic Accessories 73422 Veranda Kettle can be found at any dealer The following barbecue grill covers are available in different styles.
I was on the fence as to whether I should get this size cover or the size up after reading a few reviews. The cover is a perfect fit for my Weber Q1400 electric grill, so I am glad I didn't go any larger. A pair of bungee cords at the front and back can be tightened to secure the grill cover to the grill. In fact, it slips on top of the grill with ease. It just barely covers the power port of the grill when the side of the cover is placed inside the grill and my power cord is placed inside. It seems to be made of a quality vinyl material based on the feel alone. This cover is definitely a must have for users of the Weber Q1000 series electric grills.
I purchased the Weber Q1200 for use on our small balcony at our previous apartment, where we had the barbecue. No matter what size propane bottle you have attached to this cover, it will fit like a glove. Ensures that dirt and dust do not settle on the grill. The drawstring at the bottom keeps it in place, and so far ours has not come loose or fallen apart during several thunderstorms. Material is very flexible and easy to work with, but it doesn't feel cheap or like it will wear out after a few months. Q deserves a lot of credit.
