A Kenmore Elite Stainless Steel Gas Grill I have has most of the parts seemingly indestructible and resistant to rust but the flame tamers are apparently not stainless, as all 5 of them became discolored and rusted. I went to the Sears website to look for parts and the parts were like $25 each! Additionally, I saw that there were a lot of different panels, each with slightly different sizes and shapes, that were each designed to fit a specific grill model. I actually found the material I bought to be thicker and heavier than my original Heat plate. In addition, I started the grill for about 15 minutes and got it really hot. The heat distribution was excellent and I did not have any issues with the finish peeling off or the grill smelling, as some other reviews have mentioned. I have so far enjoyed the product, and enjoy the bbq season!.

As a result of the fire, the originals that came with my grill were pretty much burnt The materials used were thin and flimsy to begin with, so it is not surprising that they deteriorated so quickly. Because I read that they could be adjusted, I did not have the time to verify the measurements on my grill before I purchased them. The shipping was lightning fast from Amazon. I got these the same day as ordering them. It took no time at all to construct. One I measured in my grill, and the rest I just sized based on the first measurement. As a result, these are much thicker and heavier than the originals that came with it. As of now, I have fired up my grill on only one occasion since they were installed, and all is well. This is definitely a product I would recommend.

If I can cram a few months (or maybe a year) into it, that would be great! After a period of about 8 or 9 years, the Kenmore heat shields rusted through and started to rot, so they were time for replacements. The grill was quite old and I didn't want to spend much money to replace it, so I bought these one at a time. I had no problems installing the software. You're all set once you remove the old ones, adjust the size of these, and lay them in the grill. Before cooking anything with them, I recommend running your grill for a while after installing these so that any chemicals and packing dust that may have settled on them can be burnt off. There is an even distribution of heat. In comparison to the rotted old ones, they work much better. It was only the length of time that I was dissatisfied with. In my previous statement, I said that stock units lasted for nine In a couple of months, these began to show signs of rust. I have currently been using them for about a summer and a half, and I expect that I could use them for another year or two. Spend a little more and find something of higher quality if you plan on keeping the grill for an extended time period. I paid for these to extend the life of an old grill, but considering what they were used for, they are worth the price I paid.

So far, I have not encountered any complaints. This tent was easy to adjust to length and took the place of the original heat tents that were about to fall apart. In the short time since installing the grill, we have used it many times. Compared to the original heat tents, these are actually much heavier duty. Our cheap Brinkmann gas grill has been given a new lease on life. Since we have 5 burners on our grill, I had to purchase two sets. We have one spare set left. It appears that there are several other sets to choose from, but only sets of 3 or 4 unless you buy the Brinkmann brand, which is 19 dollars. Every single one is 95 cents!.

It was almost time to throw my grill in the trash after the heat plates started rusting through and turned into a muck in the bottom. I bought the new ones after cleaning and scrubbing the old ones before replacing them. After scrubbing, I grabbed my industrial work shop vacuum and sucked out the dirt and debris from the rusty mess. I was able to install it quickly and my grill has returned to looking and acting like new! I love it so much! Having the ability to adjust to fit your width is awesome. The engine has been started several times and so far there have been no signs of rusting.
