This is a very tiny bag of charcoal and there are tears in the bag. With this product, you will have a difficult time keeping things hot enough during a smoke.
This was especially so after I discovered that my usual charcoal actually contains COAL. It makes sense that it is all wood, but I thought it was a metal frame. In particular, this brand of cat litter is every where, but it also contains coal, as well as odd ingredients I haven't eaten since I was a child. Charcoal can find its way into your food in small quantities, so I've given up on that stuff once and for all. In my experience, this hardwood charcoal is the best of the solid hardwood coals I've used. The scent is pleasant and mild, adding a subtle smoke flavor to food for a very long time. It burns for quite a while and appears to "tinkle" as it pours over food. It may seem odd to enjoy such an odd thing, Shipping was extremely expensive, so I had to pay lots of money for it. There is no local place to find it, and I'm not convinced that it's worth that considerable additional cost. I found two other good hardwood charcoals in local stores, and they cost half as much (no shipping), so I was satisfied with them. However, I will probably treat myself to this product now and then. In addition to that, a tool known as a chimney starter helps you light charcoal. I have found that the fluids I had been using add undesirable additives to the charcoal smoke. To my delight, a chimney is a clean and quick starter, but if you're sloppy using it, you also burn down your house, so it may be necessary to move. I've made the following changes after further checking Considering that 95) is much lower than what I paid for my first purchase, I immediately purchased a bag!.
I would definitely buy it.
He has tried tons of different charcoal to find the one that works best for his He says that this is the best one because overall burn was better, there were less teeny tiny bits of broken glass in the bag, and it had the best flavor (which I assume is because my daughter and I both commented on it.
I did not use lighter fluid, only papers, so it's simple A temperature of about 150 degrees Fahrenheit will do for the whole grilling process (about 1 and a half hours).
This product burns hot and long, in addition to being easy to light in a chimney starter. It is amazing to grill steak over this coal. The steaks were excellent, as good as any I have had at It is not uncommon for me not to use all of the charcoal at once, so I can reuse it the next time I grill. With regular briquettes, I haven't really been able to do that. As a result, there is a lot less ash to clean up than with There will be no more briquettes for me.
