The flavor is subtle and great for mesquite barbecue
5/5

Grill it straight with this for the best results. Located on the west coast, these chips are the perfect accompaniment to steaks, burgers, or chicken dishes.

The charcoal makes a great BBQ
5/5

No need to use lighter fluid for this charcoal. The meat is delicious when it has this flavor.

Charcoal lump of the highest quality
5/5

It is one of the best charcoal lumps I have ever used. It is natural mesquite wood and lasts long.

This one is not worth your time
3/5

Do not try at all. This is not just a look-at-me light. This is insane. I started off okay, but my pieces suddenly began to go out 30 minutes into the burn. It should be able to run on its own after about 30 minutes of being lit. I have never struggled with charcoal like I am with this, so I have no idea what those other people are referring to.

Good flavor, but break up larger pieces so they are easier to eat
5/5

Any food you cook with this charcoal will have a rich, but clean flavor of mesquite. They tend to look more like small logs than briquettes at times. Use a hammer to break up larger ones in a charcoal starter so that heat can be more easily spread. Paper towels soaked in cheap cooking oil are used to light starter from below. It is a good idea to shake the starter every now and then to create more oxygen in the space between.

I like it, and it stays lit for a long time, but the shipping is crazy at $16
5/5

Does not burn efficiently, stays lit, would love to find more, but you MUST BE KIDDING, I am not going to pay $16 shipping!.
