There are suction cups on the back of the panel, which is why many people want it for window applications, but I got it for my boat battery so I had to build some standoffs to allow for the junction box on the back. I have owned some of the best solar chargers in the past. This table is very durable, it does not have a glass top cover that can I found that since it's so thin and light, it's extremely easy to hang from the back of my motor home. This is a great product!.

Connections should be handled with care. I'm ok. My favorite part of this item is the packaging. Weightless and slim, it's a good choice for traveling. What I noticed was this. My understanding is that it does not work if you trickle charge your battery with the cigarette plug. The green light will never come on and there is no sun when the phone is charging. When the red inline light is on during the night (night time), the car/truck battery is used for power. Trickle chargers fail to fulfill their purpose if they are constantly charging. You can also connect straight to the battery and it works great.

This is an easy to install product. No need to install anything just plug in a non-PC Lay it flat over the dash of the vehicle using a switched cigarette lighter outlet. My car does not slide around even when it's not parked under the sun. This is a must item for maintaining the battery in a new car that you don't drive often, as there's always something consuming power all of the time.

As of right now, I have not tested it in the car, but in Miami it will be fine since it's on the roof by the tailgate (where the wires aren't broken). On the one hand, I use the cigarette lighter, and on the other, I use clips. Find out which to use by checking whether your car keeps the cigarette lighter on when the engine is off. There are some clips that are more difficult, and my other car has a battery cover that gets in the way.
