It doesn't matter how much power the generator has as much as how much electricity you pull. In terms of wattage, it could be hooked up to a much higher power generator, but keep the power below 7500 watts so you'll stay within those limits. Just make sure whatever power you are running doesn't go over that amount. very bad for your 8000 watt generator if you got it to the max
The 100FT one is recommended, and the 75FT one is probably available from late this month onwards.
To start with, I would like to mention that I am not an electrical expert! In spite of that, the cable should work because what matters is the AMPS that you will need to run off of the cable rather than the watts creating the cable load. Likewise, I'd bet your generator has a built-in breaker for that cable plug in order to keep overload of AMPS (LOAD) on that cable at bay. How much AMPS you need the generator to produce really depends upon what you need it for. have knowledge of the SS- If U and ME are each an ASS, then ME can make one from them)

In case of a power outage, I needed a good product to use with my generator. It was my intention to place the generator in an outlying building where it would be protected from the The distance from my home is about 80 feet, so I purchased the 100-foot power cord. It seems sturdy, and since the cord runs 100 feet, I am glad to have a carrying strap and a bag attached to it. They even included I haven't used it yet, but I have no doubt it will do its.
It is possible to run a 30A welder with this chord from my generator without any issues! It would be impossible for me to make this chord for twice the price. It would cost a lot more to buy wire alone, and the connector ends are more than $30 each, but this is a molded chord with carry strap and converter. There is no doubt about it.
After the delivery of the cord, I was pleased to see it lived up to my expectations. My goal is to be able to use this for quite a few years to power my generator as an emergency backup.
I used it to prepare for hurricane season and power a back feed kit I had just installed. The twist lock mechanism is sturdy and reliable. Although the whole house ran on it, the cable remained cool despite having the 3 ton air conditioning unit turned off. I can't run it with my own 5000 watt generator. I love the bag, cord strap and RV adapter that came with it. We even throw in a There's more to this kit than meets the eye! I love it!.
It fitted our Westinghouse generator perfectly and worked perfectly with my transfer switch. It seems to be a very heavy unit-we were wary because by looking at it, we thought it was a bit fragile. For a 10 gauge gauge, it is fairly flexible and heavy duty at the same time.
The 10/4 is nice and heavy. It is nice that the poly is not hard so it is fairly easy to roll up for a 10/4 100 foot.
The second RVMATE cable I have purchased (a 25 & 30 ft. The shot is 15 feet long). There is a great deal of trust between them- The build quality of this 10 gauge is great, and the flexibility is good as well. I have a Westinghouse generator and a transfer switch that work just fine. This book is highly The reasoning for higher prices is a mystery to me.
Throughout the day, it was the only way I could get to and from the generator. do not have to run extension cables through my back door to power most of the appliances in my house. Construction is good and heavy duty. After a week of shopping, I found the best overall value for the money at this price.
