Because the power source is usually within 15 ft when we camp, this thing was the best choice. As it feels, our 50ft trundle weighs a ton, and when the weather is cold, we have to wrestle it like a gator to get it packed. The weight of this one is about 12 pounds, and it's so much easier to operate. This is the first time in ages I haven't pulled out the 50. Like the long version, the short one is also heavy duty, but in such a way that it is.
A 10k Durotech generator was able to supply power to our entire house. I was able to use the cord.
I'm glad it's ready to go in case of a power outage.
It is a very good price also. I was able to find it for the lowest price and it seemed to be robust, well built, and sturdy. As far as I am concerned, the molded 50 amp plug fit my generator well and was compact enough not to require removing the wheels as some others had complained.
My 50 amp RV hookup is connected to my temp power distribution unit with the help of this cord. The length of the sentence is perfect and works well.
It has a well-made locking ring that makes it super convenient to use when used with the right box, and I would recommend it to any generator user with a 50 amp.
