We haven't had any power outages, so I have only tested it. With the generator now in place, it is unlikely we will need to do so. The product is great!.

Flexibility is one of the things I like about this cord. Some other 10 gauge outdoor cords seem too stiff according to one of the comments I read. While it appears that weatherproofing and durability are not an issue, I have not yet rated the product on those qualities since I am not sure of those characteristics yet.
