If you have the correct attachment for the Scotty Rod holders, you can use this. The flush mounted models are certainly strong enough, especially since they have a larger footprint.

The scale I used was 1 A 1/2 inches hole saw is used to make the down hole with four of them. Originally published as #10 x 1 To pre-drill stainless screws, drill a 11/64 screw with a 1/4 diameter bit Fix the fiberglass / Gel tube with a drill and a stopper Chips in the coat should be prevented. Also a bead of white silicone has been placed around the screw hole and 4 of the screw holes have been filled The scotty anchor lock is also used in one of the mounts on the bow, depending on the situation. It's so nice having this Scotty mount on the boat now that I can add other Scotty products as I need them. As I shopped many boat stores and marinas and other websites for these, the ones on Amazon were the least expensive. I like that they are flush mount so I am not hitting my knees or legs on the block style or having my starboard and port rails stick up. In addition, they do not show up on the boat and were a must have for me.

My only regret is that I bought white instead of black

My only regret is that I bought white instead of black. I immediately noticed that they were dingy looking. It is not the case for me In the end, I had no intention of scrubbing my rold holder mounts to make them shine. It would be better to go with black instead. An even white hull is not enough.
