Without this setup, I was able to get a rain barrel. So I purchased this replacement, and it works perfectly. Good quality product. br>However, I learned that installing this on the underside of an angled downspout alongside the house is a bad idea. If you want it to be watertight, make sure it's installed vertically.
This was attached to my downspout and used to divert water away from my home. I only wish I had attached it to it at a higher level.
On a rain barrel, I replaced a leaky hose. This was absolutely ideal.
