Questions & Answers
Rust marks should be able to be removed with a little elbow grease. When stainless steel is brand new, dust from the manufacturing process can cause it to rust slightly. You are going to be fine.
Yes, the pump should work fine; my 3/4-hp 3100-gph pump works flawlessly.

I was constantly pumping water into my pond with a solar well pump, so I decided to experiment with this nozzle. I had no idea what to expect. I'm pumping about 40 gallons per minute through it at low pressure and high volume, and it still works perfectly as a fountain. I am in possession of a one. From the well house to the nozzle, 1/2" schedule 40 pvc was used. A typical 1-star rating A 1/2" pvc male adapter will fit perfectly. br> This nozzle provides the pond with ice cold water, aeration, and surface disruption (less algae), as well as a pleasant and relaxing sound. I highly recommend it; it is well worth the money.
I ordered one to replace the head on my pool's jacuzzi fountain. It's made of plastic, clogs up with debris, and is impossible to clean out. The inside of this one is completely hollow. Simple, but easy to clean. It was exactly what I was looking for. br>ON THE OTHER HAND. It's important to note that the diameter is listed as 1 inch. IT'S NOT. One and a quarter inch is the diameter of the interior. br>I had to go to Lowes and get a piece to make it smaller. br>Just in case you weren't aware. Apart from that minor annoyance, everything appears to be in working order.
They have no idea how big pipes are. Then there's the stainless steel, which is extremely durable and functional. To raise it higher in the water and increase pressure, I welded some of the holes shut. But there's a lot to do. This is a fantastic deal that is well worth the money. Thanks!.
In my 1/4-acre pond, I have two (2) of these. For easy maintenance (algae can get sucked in), they thread right on / off of a 1" PVC male fitting. They do an amazing job of aerating our pond for a ridiculously low price. br>br>If you have an imagination, a hacksaw, PVC, and sprinkler heads like these, there's no reason you can't build a killer pond / water feature setup for a fraction of the cost.
Fast delivery, no leaks when screwing into PVC. Although I had hoped for a wider fountain spray, it is still far superior to the DIY PVC cap I attempted to drill holes in. My pond is powered by a 1 horsepower submersible pump. I'm posting a video because I couldn't find one when I was looking for one when I bought this.
I recently received my fountain and installed it in the jacuzzi section of my pool because we rarely use the jacuzzi but wanted to make it attractive to look at. It looks great, and I can easily change the spray distance (circumference) by opening and closing my pool pump valve. br>br>I'm not sure why another customer thought the diameter had been stated incorrectly. It is, after all, a one-inch threaded opening.
This fountainhead is a lot less complicated than the one that came with my pool. Cleaning it will be a breeze. The fittings/adapters were readily available in the PPC Pipe section of Home Depot.
The amount of spray is significantly higher than anticipated.
