I don't think this is that high of quality. The seed was not willing to settle in for a while after the water absorbed.

Sprouting seeds with peat pellets is a great idea. To make birdseed for my pet bird, I use the sprouts. Then I put water in a bird dish and put a peat pellet in it. When it's expanded, it fits perfectly in the dish, and I sprinkle birdseed on top. I found it to be very helpful!.
