The user interface for these is not as simple as As compared to jiffy, seedlings had difficulty growing.
All you have to do is add water and it will be ready to plant. This is easy to use and leaves less mess behind.
I have received my order on time and it has worked out.
They do expand, and I managed to have them stand with a few adjustments. Water was absorbed by them, which eventually caused them to puff out. In subsequent weeks, they would lean and topple, especially if I tried moving the trays I placed them in. In a humidity dome tray, they were cooled to room temperature. I have eventually found that the best way to get them to stand up on their own is to soak and let them expand, then to let them sit until they harden, then to mist them once more as I shape them into a structure. Once the plants germinate, I then plant them with sturdy plants like watermelon and tomatoes so that they gain a large root system and can be easily transplanted as soon as they sprout. I plan to peel back the netting on them when I transplant them and pot them up in order to give them a better chance of spreading the roots. Although it seemed like these were a great value, they didn't live up to the standard of other branded items. While they do the job in a pinch, I won't buy them again on purpose. As an added bonus, they support standard 30mm trays as well as Jiffy-branded trays.
Instead of standing up straight, the ring does not even support itself. I suggest you use a stand if you want to use this product. I just plan to rip them open and use the soil since I don't really have an interest in planting individual plugs. I think the idea was great, but the execution was horrendous. Despite the fact that the soil itself is good, I would still be cautious because diseases and infections do not come from it.
A compostable material. Plants can be planted directly in the ground. The fabric retains Each of these qualities is awesome. It's frustrating that they don't sit square and fall all over the place if they're in a dedicated tray with every slight motion. My seedlings are about to sprout and I can only imagine how annoying and chaotic that will be when they start to grow. Furthermore, so that the tops of each pot may be removed, the tops need to be torn/cut off individually, which is also time-consuming. I wouldn't recommend them because they did work, but overall they did work. As long as I have my reusable trays, I'm good. I give it a rating of 2/5.
They were packed with water when I got them, and I added peas as soon as I was done. In the course of a night, I grew a lot and was very satisfied. It's nice that they give you the additional tools as well. This product is well worth the price.
