The bags were from old, unused educational science kits and I was a little shocked when I saw them. There is no way to tell how old they are, and they were only half the thickness of the ones I usually I thought they were great - Water was not easily absorbed by the hard surface. I chose to order 3 seeds since all that were available when I ordered were a few varieties that did not thrive as in the past (guessing everyone is gardening because of staying safe at home) and I was unable to grow any more. Instead of a seed starting mix, I should have just used a seed starter mix. In order to get my plants started next growing season, I'll buy much earlier from a familiar retailer.
There are only a few of them It's about 1/3 of an inch thick and a bit more than a quarter in diameter. As wedding favors, these had to be packaged in small envelopes, so I needed them to be. The small size of these pens does not diminish their effectiveness. Their use has allowed me to successfully sprout dwarf sunflower seeds. We would buy this product.
Several people have complained about the size of this product. However, these pellets are EXACTLY the size that are advertised on this product. Depending on the size, they also included 3 to 6 people There were 8 more pellets in every bag, so I was very happy. Just to get more than what you paid for is always nice, innit?.
Those seeds retain moisture so effectively that I have to take care not to overwater them and kill the seeds or seedlings. The product is great and I will buy it again.
There will be no sprouts for the food bank. It failed to sprout in 48 out of the 48 plants! A total of more than 100 seeds were sown in 48 of the 30mm peat pellets, and nothing came from them. No one has ever told me that they had failed completely. As a matter of fact, I have never failed to grow tomato sprouts more than 50% of the time. There is always growth in them. However, this year will not be so. In any case, I will resow on a different medium than I used before, and the Food Bank will get the plants later than it would be an ideal time for planting around here, but there will still be time to harvest, so it should work out. Seeing as I don't have tomatoes seeds right now, I'll have to substitute some other plants (food) instead, but I assume that will be okay There was a label on the outside of the package that stated it was from Delta Education. Are you sure that's a human being? The carriers who were giving me the disks or at least packaging them did not have a Delta order, but they packaged 50 disks for me. There are sprouts on the other Jiffy I ordered (42mm) for the garden (but that's just a dozen sprouts). In the current year, I didn't have enough time, so ordered the Jiffy order to expedite the process. The answer is no. I think it is very important to point out that the holes are MUCH too deep, measuring over an inch deep. There are very few plants, for food or herbs, or flowers, that would require more than 1/2" depth of peat, so each disk had to be modified and the holes filled, so the depth would only be 1/2". It took over an hour for the disks to absorb the water, and some took even longer. There is a very good chance the disks were This is *br*. In other words, we can go on and on. The time and effort were clearly not worth it. I will use a 5 oz coffee cup with peat and soil mix to get the plants started in the future. It is impossible for me to know what went wrong, but I will not be ordering or recommending these 30mm in the future. As for me, I doubt I will ever use or receive a "Jiffy" disk again
I would suggest that you avoid it as well.
The plant has a hard time growing seedlings, so it goes in the trash. People who are interested in using it can have a good time.
All the products arrived in good condition, my product arrived earlier than I expected it to, and I thoroughly recommend it.
As promised, these arrived ahead of time, as it said delivery would be 3 to 5 weeks, but they arrived 2 weeks early. My fault for not mentioning the size when I ordered, as I did not note the size when ordering. The program worked for me, so I had nothing to worry about.
