Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much volume per pellet is in the hydrated/expanded state?

It is suggested that you provide seeds with about 3/4 of a small Dixie cup, so perhaps 1/4 cup or a little more definitely will In this year's budget, I'll be spending more on them

The diameter of each disc is how many millimeters?

There are two discs, each 30 mm in diameter and 30 mm in size. A 2 inch thick pipe

It is not just 1 that is true. What is the weight of the entire package if there are 100 discs and 2 pounds. I appreciate it! ?

It's hard to tell how big or how small they are. A hundred discs aren't enough

Two weeks after seeds were sown, mold appeared on the plants
3/5

After using a sterile pot, a brand new starting tray, and clean, unused perlite, I tried several trays with the sterile perlite mix and several with just the coco coir, and less than three weeks later, fuzzy white mold started appearing on top. Although I caught the mold early and removed it, removing it did not make any difference. Now all my seedlings are dying. There is not much mold all over, but it is enough to cause my sprouting herbs to die.

I have too much to do
3/5

Using both the disintegrating pods and the plastic seed pods (using these), I planted seeds. It was a good year for plastic pods. They made the capsules hold water, which caused the mold to grow and everything to die. Despite my best efforts, I did not overwater. The last time I used this company was years ago. If this cost the price of plants, then plants could have been bought.

These are still a bit too soon to tell if these will work well, but they seem to be.
