It has small white crystals that hold water, and when the soil dries, the crystals release the water they have stored. It is still possible to fly over water, but it is less likely. Also, if you forget to water your plants from time to time, the crystals will take care of it.
This is a fertilizer-enhanced potting mix. There is no need for additional plant food because the fertilizer in the soil feeds the plants for 6 months.
A store comes highly recommended by me. I've purchased from them several times and have always been pleased with the quality of the items I've received. This store has 50%OFF recently, which includes masks. The sale is still going on. If you require it, go ahead and gather it. geegoode is a word that has a lot of different meanings depending on who you ☾0m
I realize this was four years ago, but I'm interested in doing the same thing (transferring a money tree) and would like to hear how it went for you. Is your tree doing well with this moisture-controlling soil? Was this the only thing you used or did you combine it with other items? br>(If that's the case, how did you mix it? )br>Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

I read a lot of reviews that said this soil was full of bugs and fungus, but I decided to give it a shot because it was so inexpensive. It would have been better if I hadn't gone. I opened the soil as soon as it arrived and discovered a large mass of fungus growing on the top layer. I was left with about 3/4 of what I started with after removing all of that. After that, I noticed a small yellow cluster. I assumed it was the nutrient-infused beads, but they didn't appear to be the case. I discovered they were bad news and removed them after checking some other reviews and even someone's blog. I then sifted through the bag to make sure I wasn't missing anything, only to discover more fungus growing inside; I will never buy this stuff again.
This potting mix is the best, it feeds constantly for 6 months, and delivery is quick. All potting soils should be placed in a microwave for 3 minutes to kill off gnats and This product receives a five-star rating from me.
I've been buying this for years to start my seeds and have never had a problem with it. To improve the clay soil in my garden, I frequently mix it in with my garden soil. I'd read some negative reviews and assumed they were due to shoddy landscaping. I usually get fungus gnats and don't realize they're coming from the ground; okay, I dealt with it (sticky tape and cinnamon). This year, however, all of my seedlings have been burned by fertilizer- Too much phosphorus can cause a variety of symptoms. Plant dies as a result of yellowing leaves with green veins. br>br>The plants started to turn healthy after I transplanted seedlings to a different mix (Miracle Gro's yucca and coir, which doesn't claim to feed plants for up to 6 months), but it was a lot of extra work, and some plants were just too far gone to revive. br>br>I'm an experienced, avid backyard gardener, and the same results happened on brand new seeds from different companies, so I knew it wasn The state extension center may be able to test the soil for me. For my seedlings, I will never use this method again. The same thing happened to my various tomato, eggplant, cake, and pepper varieties. It was a valuable lesson.
I'll keep this review brief and to the point: br>Aside from Miracle-Gro, I didn't add anything else to my plants. Gro's Moisture Control Potting Mix is a great way to keep your plants from getting too wet. I didn't have gnats before I used this soil, but I now have them. br>br>Is it just bad luck? Perhaps. However, I will not take such a chance in the future.
The second, and most vexing, aspect of this is that Even though I've only had it for a week, I've noticed a few things. Fungus gnats and spider mites are the first two. I noticed a few, and while it isn't an infestation, I must exercise extreme caution to ensure that it does not worsen. The second and most vexing aspect of this soil is that it does not drain well, instead absorbing and holding moisture. I was aware that this was a "moisture control" soil, but I had not anticipated it to be so severe. Water simply does not drain past one-third of the pot (unless I over-fill it). water (which I despise after hearing about fungus gnat infestations), which isn't good for plants with deeper roots. It also makes watering my plants a pain because I have no idea how much water they actually need because I'm not sure if the excess water is being absorbed by the soil or by my plants. It also has a strong odor that isn't conducive to indoor plants. Overall, I had high expectations after hearing so much about this particular soil brand. Of course, it's too early to tell how well my plants will do in it, but I'm hoping that it will compensate for the disadvantages.
A thorough watering, on the other hand, leaves it waterlogged for weeks. If you want to grow mold or fungus, or torture plants with root rot, this is a great option. Aside from that, I don't recommend this product for promoting healthy plant growth.
USED TO BRING BACK A 21 YEAR OLD DIEFFENBACHIA THAT WAS ONCE SEVEN FEET TALL, BUT WAS DOWN TO A SINGLE LEAF, LESS THAN ONE INCH IN LENGTH DUE TO A VARIETY OF SETBACKS. I ASSUMED IT WAS DEAD WHEN NEARLY ALL OF THE COLOR (GREEN) WAS GONE. I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT AND SEVERAL MONTHS LATER (using this product in a water solution in a glass), I NOW HAVE A THRIVING DIEFFENBACHIA WITH 3 WONDERFULLY HEALTHY LEAVES (EACH OVER 3 INCHES LONG) AND AN OVERALL HEIGHT OF (currently) NINE INCHES. This soil is available for purchase. The ground is fertile. It aids in the correction of excessive and insufficient watering. The cost is reasonable. The convenience of owning this item is the most compelling argument for doing so. If you're like me, you'd have to transport the bag of soil on public transportation for 30 minutes, then walk 3/4 mile and then up 8 stories just to re-use it. If you're going to pot the office plant, you'll appreciate how easy it is to order soil online and have it delivered to your office (or apartment).
