There is nothing more valuable than this. In fact, my garden was so ruined by it last year that I had to throw it out! It was the same schedule as always for planting my tomatoes and peppers, but the plants grew so fast they were too big too soon! When the temperature warmed up, I had to move them to 3 gallon pots. They grew to 2 feet tall before I could move them. There isn't much easier to do each day than move 50 tomatoes in 3 gallon pots across the room (sun outside, but dark inside). Due to my over eager planting, I got caught by a late spring frost. This year, I'm planting my tomatoes and peppers a few weeks later than I would have done with any commercial starter mix. This will save me money on growing lights and prevent plants from growing too quickly.
