A single Amazon listing for plants was merged with another listing for plants. As of today, Jonsteen does not sell Gardenia nor has it ever done so. You are very observant and I appreciate you taking the initiative to check it twice.
It is necessary to bring them inside the first winter they live inside. If the weather is going to be bitterly cold and windy, then you will have to turn it on. Unless the temps are extremely high, it will not be killed by the cold, but the wind will. The snow will protect it from the wind and will also protect it from the weather. Keep the plant in a pot until then, and try not to expose it to direct sunlight. There will be a fire. The pot should be placed in a mostly shaded area for the first two weeks I have been here for three Wishing you the best, and hope to hear from you soon.
The soil is almost any kind you like for potting and you can add about a third topsoil to that. Do not allow the plant to dry out as it is very thirsty. A two gallon pot would be a good place to start. You should leave the plants in their pots for at least 18 months so the roots can develop well. I built mine over a period of 9 years and they are about 30 feet long. Their growth is sped up with each additional day the plants spend in the ground. Trees are one of my favorite things.

As of this writing, the tree was still standing. The package tube was bent in half when it arrived. As of this afternoon, the roots of the tree were damp and the tree was still green. It was planted right away and I hope it was not damaged too badly. We are happy to report that the tree is doing well six months after planting. As of right now, this tree is decorated as a The next time I update this review will be in 2,500 years with an amazing.
Buy from a seller who you trust, and you'll save yourself a lot of headaches! Seeing the number of dead trees people were getting at first made me a little nervous. As it turns out, there are other companies under their name that improperly store their trees which are also sold by the seller. It doesn't matter how I got it, I ordered directly from the Jonsteen Company and I’m absolutely delighted. Although my tree had been in the mail for a few days, when it arrived, it was in great condition. The soil was moist, the roots were intact, and the tree itself was healthy. An airtight plastic bag was wrapped around the tree itself to keep moisture out. The tree was packaged securely in a hard cardboard tube. I planted it now, and I am eager to watch it grow into a large tree. The great Giant Sequoias all have names, so I decided to give mine one too. I'd like to introduce you all.
I am very happy with it. They are both doing well as of 8/18 after being purchased on 5/18. A medium and a small tree were both purchased at the same time. Both trees were properly described in the sales information, though the medium was much larger than a small. Due to that fact, the smaller model has caught up to the larger, so I don't think there was any point in paying a premium for the medium size. My guess is that this may have been a one-time problem where the small one just grew more quickly than usual. I did receive healthy trees and they were according to what I had expected. Trees look good to me.
In looking at the roots, it appears that hardly any growth has occurred. In contrast, the other one has grown out of its container and has huge roots. It's hard to say what happened to the other one. My knowledge of how well these will perform in Colorado (Zone 6) is slim to none, but for the price, I thought I'd give them a try. It has been a long time since I lived in California, and these trees were my favorite. Their current match against a different team is a solo cup.
There are a few reviews for this product that reported that customers received the plants in poor shape whether they were half dead, dried up, or in some other way. The ones I got arrived in just under 2 days, in perfect condition, and had a perfect green color. My order arrived in two tubes, with each tree in its own tube, in which the root plugs were stabilized and kept moist in order to stay alive. The box was padded with air bags like those used by Amazon. I have attached photos of one of my trees in its tube, and another photo showing the sapling out of the tube with its Most of the negative reviews of this product mention how fast the trees die. Make sure that you use the right kind of soil, get enough light, and don't put too much or too little water on these trees. I feel a lot safer ordering from online or another state nursery now. There is no doubt that I was a little nervous about ordering from a nursery that I couldn't physically walk to. Others' reviews convinced me to make the purchase as well. Thanks for doing that, I am happy My order included a Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) and a Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum). Both trees appear to be in excellent health and were labelled. As soon as I opened the package, the root balls of both plants were still moist. There is no browning of the foliage at all. They have been potted right away, so now we will see what they eventually become. arrived wrapped separately in the same package, but they were included in the same package. Additionally, they arrived 13 days earlier than expected, which I appreciated because I was worried that they wouldn't have had time to get watered or potted. It helps if you know I am in New Mexico and they are from California. In addition to the plant, they were sent with a little sheet that explained how to pot them. Taking care of the basics. There were also some Bonsai designs and definitions offered on the opposite side of the photo for those who used Moreover, the seedlings are also stated to be 1-9 years old in the paper The child is 2 years old. As I mentioned earlier, I did tie very lightly around the black pine tree to get it to stand erect. So far, both trees are doing well. Providing the trees do not turn out to be diseased, I plan on ordering from this nursery again in the future. The chances of them doing so are slim. I think they are beautiful as always.
Despite not being bound, the roots on the little tree were healthy and supple. The tree has so far held up well for a bonsai. The led light I use for indoor gardening.
As of the month of May, he is still alive and well. I got this little guy for my birthday in late April of 2020. Detailed instructions were included in the packaging of the tree, which was well protected. Planting the tree in a medium pot with miracle grow soil was my solution. It hasn't grown much since I fertilized it with Osmocote plant food, but I think I fertilized it too late. Since the weather has warmed up considerably over the last few weeks, the tree is now indoors 24/7 since it was brought inside a few of the colder Colorado nights. In addition to my order for the Elm tree, I'm considering ordering the Jonsteen Company's other types of trees. It is a beautiful tree and I am very pleased with it! The following is a summary of the changes made by There has been a significant amount of new growth on this tree in the last few weeks, particularly as it relates to its width and Overall growth appears to have been aided by the warm summer nights. Strong growth is being seen on the tree. As a reference and comparison, I am attaching another photo.
