Questions & Answers

What does it mean when it says it can't be shipped to my address? Suppose that I'm in New York now?

Thanks for visiting! Currently, we restrict the sale of tropical plants to certain states experiencing cold weather problems. This is because most tropical plants cannot survive below 40 degrees during shipping. A delivery with frost damage is possible if the temperature is less than 50 degrees. If the pot has holes or if it's solid, what kind?

Thanks for visiting! Despite having holes in the pot that the Burgundy Rubber will arrive in, it still has a great smell. Standard black growers' containers are used for this product. Your inquiry has been received and we appreciate it!

Do you get a pot of stalks with your order?

The ones I received had five stalks and were very well taken care of, and are still doing well today

Nice big plant for the house -) table or stand
3/5

Packaging does not match There were 36 boxes in which the plant arrived. This item shipped from Florida to zone 9a in Texas without any issues (ordered Thursday, arrived Tuesday with Prime shipping) and worked well in the 90 degree There is some leaf litter around the pot, as well as a few tiny spiders and dirt on the lowest leaves. The plant was dirty like most nursery plants. There are no spiders in the house- This is good since you won't have to deal with termites or other pests. Since Ficus elastica also has aerial roots, it was expected that they would have them. The fact that it arrived alive and intact is beyond all doubt a good thing. Over the soil line, the rubber plant grows to a height of This was the first grow pot I used, and it measures 8 inches across at the bottom and 5 inches across at the top. There are four primary stems on mine, and the crown measures 24 inches in circumference. A mature leaf is 8 to 12 inches long Each one is about 5 inches across and is a fantastic dark black The color green A burgundy color. 4 leaves had already begun to unfold when it arrived Rubber trees need a well-drained soil to survive, and the soil we received was rather damp (both good for shipping) and exceedingly peaty, which is okay for very young plants, but not for their mature stage Mixture that has been aerated. As opposed to that, which is not the case. Please repot the following There is a 10 inch pot that is too small without a great deal of roots without most 12 inch pots being 10 inches across beneath their midlines. The pruning process. The size of the item is another thing that needs to be described. Listings like this could benefit from a line drawing showing how it would look if it was held by a person. It is difficult to determine the proportions of the cropped pictures with furniture.

It arrived in poor health and had no chance of surviving
4/5

It usually takes a couple of days for them to perk back up. The growth of the plants will sometimes die back a little during the winter, but over the following growing season, they usually flourish once more. There was no way this one could win. I watched as it went from a wilted, deprived plant to a dead plant with no hope of recovery in about three Once upon arrival and once thereafter, the soil was watered as best as possible, as long as it remained moist. Despite numerous attempts to recover, it never returned to its pre-injury state. You're lucky.

Someone hates plants, and that person works for UPS
3/5

While not the worst package I have ever received, it was up there on the list. the package had been knocked on the door by the delivery driver (UPS), I would have refused it The plant was purchased at a discounted price, so I more or less viewed it as a floor model with dings and dents. It occurred to me to open it and take a look inside before I attempted Even though the packaging on the outside looked quite unkempt and unsophisticated, the inside was very thoughtful and effective (perhaps they learned from prior mistakes). Near the base, a piece of tape was cinched in a little to help the plant stay in place. In order to keep the put at the bottom of the box, cutout tabs extended through the box. Despite its overall poor health, the plant I received was clearly healthy. During this time, it was growing closer to the "mod pot" in a growing point. (Can't avoid the word) The soil was moist. One of the most worrying things (literally) was that a few of the large leaves were nicked or There were no traces of damage, which suggests that the picker still selected the plant for shipping despite its condition. According to what I gather, the cause of that was shipping rather than conditions for growing. By misting the leaves and wiping the debris off with a damp sponge, I got rid of the debris. While I could keep this plant for myself, I am not sure if it would be appropriate to give as a gift. Also, this is the type of plant you wouldn't choose from if you were in a nursery.

This root is not present
3/5

It is not worth the money. When it was born, it was scrawny and tiny. From the start, it did not seem as if it had much life. My plant got worse after repotting, but I even used the best potting soil mix I could find, only to learn that the root system wasn't working. As far as I could tell, it seemed the nursery just sent me a cut branch in a pot which they advertised as a vigorous potted plant. This will be the last time I buy a plant online. By the way, i am an expert at taking care of Another foliage that has thrived for years is another one I have.

Half of the plant is dead due to In conclusion, I see from the box that this plant seemed to go through hell to arrive My surprise at opening the box was that the plant was all ruined and more than half of the leaves were torn
5/5

The plant gave no sign of coming back out of the pot till I placed it in a bright spot and waited for a while. My plant was replanted after 2 weeks and then I gave it mild fertilizer and moved it to a south-facing window, but there is no sun, and now after 2 months, the leaves are falling off the plant and over half of them are dead because they were crushed during I would like to buy a replacement plant since the one I purchased was not worth the price paid.
