It was yesterday when I received the palm. I am very pleased with this plant. Although the box was a little beat up, it was healthy, tall, and beautiful. There are feathers attached to some of the feathers There were some browning on the fronds or it appeared that they were dried out, but I don't think it reflects the palm's overall health. This leaf is a good quality product and the instructions in the package are clear and easy to follow. I am very satisfied with this purchase and am eager In the meantime, I've re-read the article A pot was applied to the plant. The plant came in a tall slender box (clearly marked as a live plant), clearly marked as a live plant. Rather than a paper bag, a tall paper bag was used inside the box to store the plants. When shipping, the paper bag prevented soil at the bottom of the pot from crumbling into the box and making unpacking more difficult. A black plastic pot with a diameter of 9 1/2 inches and a height of 8 1/4 inches stood beside it. There are 32 inches of height to the plant. At the time of delivery, the soil was moist. The plant did not have insects on it after I carefully examined it. It also looked like the roots were in good shape. A palm is one of my first houseplants and it is my only one. I do not have any cons at the moment. The only concern I have is that I read the plant likes to be misted frequently, and the room I have it in has hardwood flooring. To mist it without requiring water to be wiped off the fronds that hang over the planter, I have to figure out how. In case there is a need, I will update this review.

I received my order quickly and in good My living room plant is flourishing after being treated with neem oil and repotted into a larger container following an intensive treatment of neem. In both cases, I strongly recommend them. A majority of the negative reviews come from people who neglected to treat for bugs or repo. Plants from a nursery are being sold here. There is a certain amount of bugs in their pots because they are temporary. I recommend you get some neem oil if you don't already have any. Mixing one part neem oil with ten parts water and spraying it in a spray bottle works for me. We heavily mist the soil and lightly mist the leaves. For most plants in your house, this will work, but you must be cautious around epiphytic.

I believe the plant was packaged well, is larger than expected, but a few leaves are brown. I am ETA-ing Despite only being a few weeks old, the plant is already half dead. Though we have taken excellent care of this plant, have been able to keep it in filtered sunlight, and have watered it when the soil felt dry, I doubt it will live for In my opinion, the pot is just too small for the plants, the roots have now grown out of control, or Costa probably tore the roots out of the pot when they replanted it in it. My aim is to repot it to see if it can grow again, but I don't have high hopes. A very disappointing experience.

I have updated When the palm was new, it was beautiful. However, over time, it slowly withered away. Drying fronds increased as the days went by. Checking and double checking my compliance with the instructions was essential. There were times when I offered more water, other times when I offered We tried to give it more and less sunshine, and despite our efforts, it's only a couple of stamps that are still alive after over three months. Disappointed! Also, a friend of mine purchased one of these for herself and she was also thrilled with it initially, just like I was. She was even faster at recovering than I was. Please note that What a beautiful palm tree this is! going to buy more after receiving this one only to find out that they were sold out. The package arrived in a very tall box, but UPS, in their infinite wisdom, decided to leave it on its side on my porch, despite all of the warnings on the box that said "LIVE PLANTS - DO NOT MOVE". IT'S GOING TO END THIS WAY". There was only one slight bend in the frond and a bit of dirt that escaped from the pot. Thankfully, the damage was not severe. I think I will be able to divide this into more than one plant next summer since there are so many stems in it. A single frond can reach up to 4 feet tall, but the individual fronds can also reach very far below 4 feet. The soil was damp when we arrived, indicating that the plants were in excellent condition. The plant I am looking at is really impressive. This is the second one I've bought from Delray (I bought a snake plant from them when I first started the business) and both have been wonderful. I receive a lot of help from this palm, and I talk to it daily. It has become a part of my house almost like a pet.

Compared to any of the ones I could find locally at Lowes or Home Depot, this is much nicer. This is a highly recommended read! An image of a 1 gallon watering can can be found in the photo to provide a size comparison. A standard pot came with it as well. The one in the photo is mine.
