Questions & Answers

Is this something unique to Treepoisonousto cats?

Yes, it's an Azalea, which is toxic to cats.

This tree appeals to me, and I would like to purchase it. Will it survive a winter in North Dakota Zone 3 if it is deciduous and has to be outside all of the time?

I'm not sure how a North Dakota zone 3 winter is defined (didn't look it up on the internet), but according to Colin Lewis' Bonsai Basics, the Satsuki Azalea will tolerate full sun for a while, but will perform best if kept in semi-shade, or even full shade during mid-summer. summer. In addition, semi-permanent flowers last much longer. shade. In the winter, keep the tree protected from the wind at all times and bring it into a frost-free garage or shed if temperatures are expected to remain below - For more than a day, the temperature should be around 5 degrees Celsius (23 degrees Fahrenheit).

Is it possible to bring the bonsai indoors? I need to put it in my bedroom, so please respond. ?

Yes, it can be used indoors. I have one at work. I purchased a small bottle of bonsai liquid food and placed it in a spray bottle, which I use every other day. When I get home from the weekend on Mondays, I also water. I also placed it in a sunny window. I leave it there for 6 hours, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. And it's looking great.

Is the plant going to be properly packaged so that it doesn't get damaged?

It was a present for my mother, who thought it was lovely. Amazon's packaging has never been an issue for me.

A positive first impression is important

(This page has been updated. ) I just got here. So far, I've been pleasantly surprised. This purchase was by accident, but with shipping being 40% of how much this cost me I didn t see it worth sending back I didn t see it worth sending back I didn not% It was in excellent condition when it arrived. br> I expected a five-year-old tree, as stated in the description, but this one is only three years old. Has some excellent bids that appear to be about to bloom. br>The soil arrived moist and undamaged, and the foliage appears to be in excellent condition. Instead of the blue planter, it came in a cream one. But it's still adorable. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>Due to its compact nature, soil is extremely difficult to water; the key is to mist the soil so that the water seeps in when you pour or run a slow faucet. Finding out when it needs to be watered has been the most difficult part. But I believe I've figured it out, and with minimal leaf loss! (I have a black thumb in my normal life. ) br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br> They don't last long, but they bloom at different times throughout the year. I'm going to try deadheading right now, removing old petals to see if new ones grow in their place.

Arrived in bad shape and died as a result
3/5

This Azalea Bonsai had a darkened leaf cluster in the center when I received it. I placed my order on November 22nd. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. On December 27th, I gave it to my mother as a gift. Mom has a green thumb and believes she can bring it back to life. Despite her best efforts, the darkened area quickly spread throughout the plant.

Died
3/5

Again. I bought it because of the positive reviews, but it died in less than two weeks, just like all of the negative reviews said it would. After contacting Amazon, I was fortunate enough to receive a replacement. This time, I'm hoping it makes it. br>br>Updatebr>br> I got another plant from Amazon, and it's been about two weeks since I received it, and it's just as dead as the first. I'm not sure if it's just me, but when it comes to plants, I usually have a green thumb. But I'm not going to buy it again. I only took it out of the box; the soil was moist and didn't require any watering, so I didn't do anything else. br>br>In the photos, the first one is the second one I got, and the second one is the first.

This does not resemble the image at all
3/5

This does not resemble the image at all! I was hoping to give my mother a nice plant for Mother's Day but she now has a horrible looking plant because the plant arrived broken and not in the pot shown in the picture. I don't think this plant will make it. I'll never buy a plant from Amazon ever again.

It was a waste of money
3/5

It was a waste of money. I bought one and it died right away, so I bought another, thinking I did something wrong with the first, but the result was the same: it died after a few days.

When she arrived, she was stunning, but she died in less than a week. I followed 90 of the instructions but it was a waste of money.

When you open the box, it just gives you a BIG SMILE! I'm not a big fan of giving feedback
4/5

However, I recently received my azalea bonsai and am extremely pleased with it! Yes, it is true that it is a three-year bondai tree rather than a five-year bondai tree. However, I am unconcerned about this. Who, after all, has the time to care for a bonsai from seed to maturity? As a result, I am extremely grateful for nurseries. Even though my pot isn't exactly like the one in the photo (it came in a royal blue stone pot), it's still lovely! And now for the most important part: the Azalea bonsai arrived in excellent condition. It has lovely foliage, and many more flowers will bloom in the future. I wish I could just go away for a week and then cut them off. As a result, my azalea's energy will be focused on the plant rather than the flower. You will have a healthier Bonsai as a result of this, and it will produce more flowers in the future (I am not a bonsai expert), but I adore all plants and have a large collection, and I will treat my Azalea Bonsai with the same care. As a result, I will tell all of my friends about this product! And thank you, Brussels, for the way you packaged my Bonsai, which required a lot of TLC. Thank you so much!.

Before you start whining, learn about bonsai and azalias
5/5

This is the second time I've tried to grow something. I've had varying degrees of success, but I'm more confident now that I've studied this subject on YouTube (Heron Bonsai Nursery is excellent). Both plants arrived in excellent health and beauty, and I don't think anyone can complain about that, regardless of the final result once they're in your home. I discovered that Kanuma with sphagnum moss mixed in, or at the very least a light weight soil, is ideal for Azalia/Bonsai. The plant dislikes being dried out and prefers to be in a humid environment. It's a good idea to mist frequently. However, do not clog it with water. When you receive the plant, it will be wired to the bottom of the pot, and you can choose to clip the wires and examine the roots / soil. My first plant was a bit of a clumsy one. It had to be cut out and trimmed back because it was bound. Bonsai requires a lot of attention and care, so it's a good idea to brush up on your knowledge. This will take some time and effort, but it will be well worth it.
