They appear to be staying too wet. I'm curious if the overflow drain is accessible. When you water, does the water visibly drain from the bottom hole? It could be clogged, or there could be a plug in the hole that you need to remove before planting the box. Also, growing plants in complete shade can be difficult, but if any plant can grow in complete shade, it should be begonias.
As long as the brackets are securely fastened to the stone, that is.

I bought it as a present for someone in my family. This item comes with all of the screws and other materials needed for installation. This item is concave (bows inward) across its width, as noted by another reviewer. There's no denying it. I'm not sure why the manufacturer would sell them in such a bad state. I'd avoid going there until they fix the problem.
I knew I needed the same brand after changing the colors of the house; my previous set is now in the back yard; I wasn't about to part with them! They are resistant to fading, chipping, and cracking. They look brand new and keep flowers fed even in the hottest Minnesota summers and the coldest Minnesota winters.
I placed an order for two 4-packs. foot black window boxes to replace Mayne window boxes that were the same exact size. They're fantastic, and I use them all the time. round. I've had them for a few years and they've faded over time because they're in direct sunlight, but I love them—they're very good quality, durable, and the water reservoir feature works great—and my geraniums love them. One of the boxes was severely damaged when it arrived, so it had to be re-packaged. The window box inside was fine, even though it had been taped—that's how tough they are. The only difference I've noticed is that the seaming on my older ones was cleaner. The newer ones have visible mold seams and some excess plastic, which I'll most likely shave off with a razor blade. It won't make a difference because no one pays attention to them.
I bought three different sizes of these and bought five of them. My boxes were professionally planted, and I water them on a daily basis. It's a requirement. I went an entire day without watering my expensive plants and flowers, and by the afternoon, they were completely wilted. Not just wilted, but completely wilted. It had dried up. The soil. The whole point of spending the money on these boxes, I thought, was to have the added security of the self-watering system. Or a water-storage system of some kind.
This window planter box was purchased to replace a wooden box that had failed to withstand the elements. Although it is made of plastic, it has a fantastic appearance. Once I bought a masonry bit and Tapcon screws, it was a breeze to put together. My house now has a lot more curb appeal!.
They're incredible! They included everything you'll need to get started. Because we were installing into brick, we had to purchase different screws (masonry screws). If you're going to install into brick, you'll need a masonry drill bit as well. I love how simple it will be to plant new flowers by simply removing the boxes. For a single person, the installation was simple. Because of the size, you may need assistance putting the boxes on the brackets; however, it is highly recommended!.
I haven't yet hung it up, but the look and feel of this box impresses me. It's quite thick, and it appears to be very weatherproof. br>br>Once it's hung, I'll post a picture. More may be ordered! In comparison to wooden ones, I believe they are well worth the money.
The box's quality is excellent, and I'm confident that the mounting brackets will support it and hold up over time; the water feature is certainly unique. Planting is something I'm looking forward to doing. I would recommend it and purchase it again. 15- Residential installations are covered by a one-year warranty.
