I'm not sure because I've never used a magnet. It's a small planter with a lovely design. I keep it under my covered porch to keep it out of the elements, and I only use artificial plants in it. So far, no rust has appeared.
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to respond to your question. Mine is being used as a piece of decor. The planter is extremely attractive and well-crafted.
The tray creates a pleasant water-holding environment. in a constrained environment There haven't been any leaks in my house; I try not to overwater the plants. If you use the right potting soil, your philodendrons will thrive. It's an easy-to-use device. Although it is a heavy pot, I believe it will easily hold plants that trail and climb.
It's possible, but it'd be a bad idea. Because the top lip angles out at a 45-degree angle, it fits perfectly.

The container as a whole is corroding. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
Antique copper does not have a patina (no verdigris or green tint), but it does have a more muted appearance than bare copper. The coloring blends well with the darker woods (such as ipe or walnut) and matches some of H Potter's other products (2 are shown in the background). Colors are nice and 'warm,' but not overly bright or bold. The size is ideal, and the lower tray is watertight, so I won't have to worry about the furniture it sits on being damaged. To avoid marring some surfaces, you might want to add some soft'stickies' as feet or bumpers. a nice group - They should be included, but they aren't. BTW: Customer service at H Potter is quick to respond and stands behind their products (I had a minor issue with a defect in one of their larger planters). This planter is relatively light and portable. , but only the tiniest plants will fit; I like the look of the planter so much that I don't want to cover it up. br>I wish the same planter came in a longer version.
I ordered several of these to use in succulent gardens because they are of such high quality and beauty. It arrived the next day after I placed my order, and I am extremely pleased with both the product and the service.
It has to be stylish if I'm going to put something on my counter or table. I enjoy growing plants and bought this container to add a splash of color to my'very white kitchen. ' Small trees and plants are propagated by me and given as gifts to friends and clients. This one will be extra special because I only have about 10-minutes to prepare it. In this container, there will be 12 small tree cuttings to plant. In addition, I have some chartreuse reindeer moss that I plan to use to cover the soil. It'll be a stunning color scheme. It will instantly brighten that kitchen!.
In two garden house window ledges, we bought the second one to match the first. To prevent rusting, we placed small pots with drip catchers in them. The planters should not have any dirt or water in them. One thing that could be done to improve the planter's bottom tray is to make it fit better under the planter. To help them stick together, we used clear mailing tape. The trays are there for aesthetics and balance, not to catch drip water. We covered the drip holes with tape to prevent water leaks; Even if it did catch some water, the shallow drip tray would be ineffective. Overall, we liked the copper look, and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. They will last longer if they are treated with a little extra care and forethought.
It was probably lovely when it was new, but it had to be returned. I was able to detect the scent of potting soil. When I opened the box, it smelled musty, as if someone had overwatered it, and I scratched both sides. And the wlelding wasn't all that impressive. For the price, I expected more, so I sent it back.
I've had this planter for about 9 months and it's starting to corrode in a few spots. I assumed the manufacturer would be aware that plants require watering and thus would not be prone to corrosion. It might last a few months longer before needing to be replaced. Also, it's inside, so it's not even exposed to the elements, but it's supposed to be for a window box, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be usable if it was outside. I'm going to go with a clay pot next.
