There is no difference in thickness between the saucers in this packet. The size of the planter determines which one to use. As much as I could, I avoid being overzealous Plants need to be watered, but water right through them can be problematic. Then, I do the same thing except I swap the saucer and pour the nutrient-rich overrun on a different To keep hard water crud from forming, I regularly wash out the saucers. The look brand new at all times. Since the harsh sun will deteriorate the plastic over the summer months, changing them out regularly will extend the life of the items.

If vegetation is being watered, these trays are adequate for capturing any overflow. Our hot climate will cause the trays to crack during the summer because they become brittle in very short time. As a result of the residue that accumulates on the tray, I change them out periodically. Place the clean one between the pot and the dirty one and put the used ones in a pan of vinegar. I rotate them throughout the year, thus reducing wear and allowing me to use them throughout Winter.

This is a great product to have on hand because there is no such thing as too many plants, I have a lot, and they protect my deck from moisture and water. The plastic is not flimsy it is of high quality.
A great thing about the Flower Pot Trays is their versatility. The height is ideal, so the liquid does not run over the edge. SUCH A BEAUTY AND THEY ARE so durable.
