The 6 shelf size, which is also 3 foot diameter, is just to the right of the photo and slightly below, while the 4 shelf is only 2 foot diameter. The problem with all of the above responses is that most people seem to believe their four-shelf unit is the only one available, when in fact, there is a six-shelf unit that costs about $10 more but is significantly larger. On the same page, there's also a seller who sells fans and a trimmer. As a result, all of the reviews are jumbled, and I sincerely hope that AMAZON will put an end to this jumbled mess. However, reading only one item's reviews. Select that size, color, or item, and then go to the review chart, where you can make sure you're only reading reviews from that selection by clicking on the chart, which will filter out everything else. You can select all stars, just 5, or one, and so on.
We, too, are unable to fold ours - We just put them in a big bag and store them that way!
It was designed to dry herbs, so it should work for thyme. To catch any extra fine particles, it's always a good idea to put something on the floor beneath the rack.
Don't worry; it can hold more than you're allowed to grow legally.

When you receive it in the mail, you'll think to yourself, "Damn, this is a lot smaller than I expected. " Then you open the cute little holder it comes in, and it flies out, slamming you and your wife in the face. No way, it's that big. Just be careful when you open it because it will catch you off guard.
So far, I've had it for a few harvests and it's been flawless. The best value for money when it comes to drying DANK tomatoes.
I guess I didn't read the instructions carefully enough. It's a massive building. It's large enough to hold a large amount of herbs. My cats keep trying to jump into it and knocking it down, so I need a better location to hang it. I have to keep it in a room where they are not permitted to enter. However, it serves its purpose and can hold a lot of herbs!.
This rack is ideal for me as an avid herb grower and drier. There is no mold, there is plenty of airflow, and the material dries quickly. These have been a lifesaver. Much preferable to drying your herbs on a clothesline in the barn or shed.
To begin with, this is a massive machine. Second, it came with holes in the mesh that must have formed during the bagging or manufacturing process, which defeats the purpose because I bought it to keep flies away from my dehydrating herbs. These damages had to have occurred when it was made or when it was placed in its bag, because it was stored in the bag that it came in. As a result, I am unable to use it because what good is it if birds and bugs eat my herbs? As a result, I've been dehydrating my herbs in brown paper bags. br>I'm guessing I could use one or two of the shelves based on where the tears are, but that's not why I bought it in the first place. The only reason it's getting two stars instead of one is because of that partial use.
Simply open the package and hang it from a shower curtain rod. It can hold a total of twelve 8 x 10 prints while they dry. When you're finished, fold it up into a small package.
I'm convinced I've been taken advantage of. This product is identical to the 22$ version I ordered, except for the dimensions, which were different, not the case, which cost me an extra $10. Mahalos.
This is a huge deal! You can dry a lot at once; I wish each layer could be attached separately, but it comes in pairs, so you can only have two or four. There's plenty of room in between for airflow, and the sides are nice and high so nothing falls off when you move it. If you're going to use it, make sure you have plenty of room. If you can put it outside on a patio or somewhere else where it won't get in the way, do so. It'll take up a lot of space if you keep it indoors.
