The last time I bought one of these was ten Those of you who regularly grill with charcoal or wood should definitely pick up this tool
5/5

It may be something you've always needed, but didn't think to buy until now. Most of my adult life has been spent grilling on some kind of charcoal grill at home and in parks, and to my utter dismay, I am always stirring the hot coals with my tongs and then wiping them down. The tool has never been on my mental checklist of must-haves, since I have never seen it in a store. It has become a necessity for me since I purchased one! All of the steel is solidly constructed and is made in one piece. You should be able to use this tool for the rest of your life.

Grill tool that is solid and indispensable
5/5

In Texas, the grilling season lasts all year long. A single grill is used I find it easy to follow my routine because I do it three times a week. Prior to dumping the coals out of the charcoal chimney, I used regular grill tongs to move them about as I My hands would get too hot sometimes, even with a mitt on, and I would have to take another pass or two in order to place the coals. I can move the coals around easily with the rake, and I do this with ease every time. As long as I arrange the coals according to my needs, I never have to do it more than once. The ice skating must be similar to the ice after the zamboni has refreshed it, as if it were an analogy not applicable to I will try to do Do you know how certain situations require a particular tool that has only one function to solve the problem? Knowing how to use that tool is the only way to complete a given task effortlessly? It is a charcoal rake like this that truly makes a difference! It was only after I bought one that I realized I needed one. Grilling without one would be painful for me. If you think you do not need to spend $15 on this, think again. Certainly, I realize that, but this rake is solid steel, sturdy, and going to last a long time. I can easily see myself using it for 30 years to come.

The final draft is almost perfect
4/5

The product is very good and does the job exactly the way it is expected to. There is an open seam on the bottom of the handle, and that's my only complaint. When not handled carefully, this blunt object is very sharp and can easily cut you. When using this, be sure to wear a glove. In my opinion, I will use a Dremel to smooth out the edges so that it will be As it stands, I rate 4 out of 5. There is only a very small problem with an otherwise great product, so this is a 5 star.

You must have a charcoal grill if you use one
4/5

It was my wife's gift to me to get an Akorn egg smoker. It has become easier to do over the past several months. The accessories are the focus of this hobby, like many masculine hobbies. In addition to a grill hook, a meat thermometer, a wire brush, and a cooking stone, I also picked up some supplies. As far as I was concerned, everything was in order. It was then that I had to reach down into the grill and move the coals. Spatula is what I usually use, but it was short and it got all dirty from charcoal. My search on the internet led me here. The Weber is a quality brand, so you would expect the same quality. To do the job, I wanted to be sure that the blade was long enough and had the right angle. It is exactly what I was looking for! As soon as I remove the center circle of the grill, I am able to reach down and It would have been nice if it had a silicone grip around the handle, but since you use it so frequently, it doesn't really matter. Though I did have to file down the edges as soon as I got it in the garage. That final polishing step that removes the sharp edges caused by the metal being stamped out doesn't seem to have been applied to this. In the end, though, I felt it comforting in my hand after filing, then lightly sanding (just the edges) with some 220. It is only one star off for that, but overall this is a great addition to any Pit Masters toolbox!.

Rake the charcoal with a good rake
5/5

I had been using an old ash shovel as a charcoal rake in my 18-inch garden. It's a 5 Weber that I had for a while, but I lost it, so I decided to order another. I was accustomed to using my ash shovel, so when this one arrived, I found it, but I tried it A single sheet is constructed, but it appears to be With this tool, I have a little more control over the charcoal because its handle is a little narrower and angled differently from the shovel's. One thing I am having trouble with is. . The majority of people may not know about. One of the difficulties I have is with the Craycort cast iron grate that comes with my Weber grill. This is in contrast to the standard Weber grate, which you have to remove, or the hinged Weber grate, which allows you to add and adjust your coals from an entire side. There are three separate grate sections on my cast iron grate. This rake has an angled handle, so sometimes I have to adjust my food, so I can remove two grates at a time (one at a time), so that I can get my coals arranged It's not a big deal to me since I have to do this with my old ash shovel as well. It may be a little aggravating for someone else. You may want to use a standard Weber grate or perhaps a hinged grate if you have them, but raking the coals to keep them evenly lit will work too. My experience with it has been good so far.

This is perfect for the purpose it's intended for
5/5

An iron rake is used to remove coal. Designed to push, pull, spread, and gather hot coals, this versatile tool is a must. The distance from the center of the sphere to the center of the dome is 21 inches There isn't much that is more suitable for some grill than for others, unless you're using something custom built enormous. There's a large head, but it's also small enough to be quite mobile. The handle portion is hollow, which helps mitigate heat buildup. The head is made out of stainless steel, and the head is only one piece of stainless steel. It is very easy to wrap duct tape around the handle to prevent heat from building up you can even get creative with what you wrap (even if it is You may find it a problem if it bothers you. Because you left it sitting in hot coals after using it, it probably lasted a long time. This will almost certainly be a one-time purchase, so the price will probably be around $2500 This is a very good value for the first time buyer, and it's a very durable product. It is highly recommended to own a charcoal grill if you own this product. If you own a wood burning stove or a small fire pit and you need to move the coals around, this could also be very helpful. As well as serving as a very good back scratcher, it also works well as an alarm clock. I don't care what you think don't judge me.

You never get this toy, but once you do you're very happy you bought it
5/5

If you BBQ/grill with charcoal, this is one of those 'toys' that you always put off getting, but once you do you're very glad you got it. For a number of years, I used my grill tongs to move the coals around instead of purchasing this type of product. Raking the coals around with the rake is easy and saves a lot of time but also creates that two-sided effect that you are looking for. In a zone or in threes A zone is set up. Product of great quality.
