Round is the shape of them. It does not by definition mean that the 2x2 is square, it simply tells you that the longest length in either In the same way, the mesh could also be oval, perhaps 3 inches long and 2 inches wide, and so on. The mesh still would be round, just not in the same way as
The mesh pieces were used to pot up five plants just today. In every pot, no matter how big or small, the hole is relatively the same size. No matter how large or small the pot may be, the mesh is supposed to cover the hole. There are a lot of great things about these, and I am happy that I can order more of them. This is a company I recommend highly. As a cactus and succulent grower, I am passionate about these There are currently over 400 pots of plants in my collection, and I will use these pieces to pot and repot them in the future.
There are a lot of Chinese-made products out there. They are a nice size and do a good job.

This saves me from needing to hunt around for rocks of appropriate size in lanscaping.
A plant that is one of my favorites caught my eye. She used to clean her plants by placing them in the shower to give them a little humidity and clean them off. It would clog my drain if I did that, as dirt from the plant would clog the pipes. While potting her plants, she always put these little discs in the bottom of the pot so as not to show any As soon as I bought the discs, I decided they were the thing I needed, since I always end up with dirt leaking from the pots when I top water. There are some amazing discs on these discs. The plants that I have potted are no longer losing bottom soil. I haven't yet repotted all my plants, but the ones that I have are not losing bottom soil.
I use these to cover drainage holes in my indoor planters. They work great! It would've been cheaper to just buy some screen material and cut them out myself, and I may do that when these run out. At the moment, these were just a simple quick and easy solution for someone living in a small apartment who doesn't have a lot of space to store her plant supplies. A window screen material, these are flat and thin, and are flexible. It is crucial in keeping soil in and allowing water to drain well from pots. As I'm adding the first couple inches of soil to my larger pots, I have to hold the plants very tightly so they'll stay in place over the drainage hole, but that's not a problem, just something to keep in mind.
A great feature of this screen is how dense it is, as it hardly allows soil through it. Although I dislike the quality of the cloth, it appears to be extremely thin and I think it might snap or allow anything to easily pass through it. In order to connect the wire to the pot, I have to stretch it a lot, and it is very difficult to keep it flat while I do so. It's better to buy something else if you can. Try a thick layer of plastic instead, this is too thin.
The pots have consistently stayed wet until water began to leak out of the bottom hole, but that never happened to me. In the pots I had so much water that when I used the scale for 2 weeks and put the meter in the dirt, the meter showed that the soil was too wet and that it should not have registered. I guess you just have to live and learn.
I have used it with all my planters that have drainage holes and it's really effective. In the past, I have used coffee filters because they are biodegradable, but I decided to try these instead. The fact that they don't break down so easily and I can reuse them over and over makes me like them. Choosing the bigger 4 was the best choice for me With a diameter of one inch, the surface area is larger. In order to make small planters, I fold them in half and cut them out. You simply can't afford to miss this!.
They are great and I wish I had purchased them sooner. I used masking tape to cover half of the holes in the past if the holes were too large. These aren't flimsy at all and stop soil (and sudden water seepage) from spilling out. There are some things that every plant parent should know.
