During the dry period between waterings, aloes and succulents need to be covered with cloches. If possible, they should be placed in fast draining soil (grit, sand, and/or perlite added) in a pot that is just barely larger than their root ball. This is a very small scale! Depending on where the aloe plant is located, a very large plastic container this big might be ok for a plant with a rootball this size outdoors in full sun, or it might be fine in a west or south facing window in full sun. The rest of the scenario isn't
The saucers that sit beneath the pot are just plain saucers
It looks more like white than cream to me.
Considering that the pots are hard plastic, you might be able to paint on them - it depends on the paint you choose

I had to order several different brands of 6 inch pots for a project. Drain holes were not present in the first kind. With the second brand, there were so many holes that the soil could not be held in place I love this brand. There are enough drain holes, they're sturdy, and they have overflow trays as well. I find them to be well made and beautiful. Additionally, they come in a plastic bag and bubble wrap bag, so they are extremely well protected. There was nothing broken or chipped on them and they traveled like a dream. This is the best brand of the three I have purchased so far, and it is very affordable as well.
I have come across the best on the web so far. These saucers fit perfectly in the drainage holes and have a nice size.
The holes are small enough that little soil will fall through them, but there are enough to make us feel like the soil is being drained. I cut the drainage trays so that they fit the pots well without sticking out too far. They seem to be made of plastic, but they are actually made of a matte black This is a product I would buy again without a doubt.
My planters are very cute and I'm pleased with them. In an attempt to experiment with cuttings taken from my elephant’s bush and golden pothos plants, I wanted little planters such as these The following is a valid description of the problem.
d) repot them again if I decide to keep them. b) look cute, so I'm deciding if I'll keep them or give them as a gift. more durable/stronger than what we find at 1) not too expensive to give away as gifts to family/friends/loved ones if I so desire.
It was a very good deal for a bunch of six inch pots for me. In addition to the lack of drain slots at the bottom, others have pointed out that the pot has a loose fit. This can easily be fixed by drilling out a few proper drain holes in the bottom of the pot. The silicone spots on the bottom of the pot were used to anchor the tray to it. They work perfectly now that I can put pots on hangers.
What I liked was that I received not only the pots but also the saucers! These pots have drainage holes and I like how they look on my plants. It prevents your plant from retaining too much moisture, and they are the ideal size. For now, I have my pots hanging and displayed on shelves (see photos). This should help a bit!.
Compared to what I was expecting, the quality is excellent. Compared to the pots I was trying to replace, these are much better. Though I would prefer the saucers to be attached to the pots, I can certainly live with that rather than break the deal. I like how attractive they are and how easily they can be cleaned. Their white color allows them to reflect light and are ideal for my indoor vegetable garden. I'm buying more. Very happy with my purchase.
It's nice to have pots like these. It is weird for some reason, but despite building quite a collection of pots for quite a long time, I had almost no pots of this size. Therefore, I now have everything I need in this size.
The only problem is that the water trays do not have enough room. Despite the fact that larger trays are more convenient for watering, they actually don't look as nice. Therefore, it is a kind of trade off, and I am not bothered by either. The things you should keep in mind when purchasing are as follows. This pot is very sturdy and not brittle like so many other pots I collect. I also appreciate that I get so many pots for the price. It has a beautiful color and I love it.
