However, I was ecstatic when I received the planter. It includes everything you'll need and appears to be in excellent condition. There is already a drain hole in it. It also comes with a plug in case you want to close up the hole. It comes with a filler to make it easier to drain the water. Although the saucer is not attached to the planter, when placed beneath it, it appears to be so and looks very modern and clean. Also included was a small net to cover the drain hole to prevent dirt from leaking into the saucer. I highly recommend this product because it is very cool!.
Exceeded my expectations in every way. A screen is included to place inside the pot over the drain hole to prevent dirt from escaping. There is also a separate drain plug that fits very tightly. Then there's the matching, but distinct, ceramic tray for catching any water that might drain if you don't use the plug. It comes with drainage medium (which looks like small brown marbles) to put in the bottom of the pot to keep the roots from sitting in water. Finally, it comes with a round felt pad on which you can place the pot to prevent scratches on your furniture. I'm really happy with it. (NOTE: The trio consists of The three-legged stand in the photo is optional and does not come with the pot.
This planter is well-built and sturdy. You can use the included plug or a mesh screen provided by the company that allows water to drain but keeps soil out. They also provide you with root-growth-promoting substrate. The saucer is also substantial, and a felt mat is included to protect your floor from the planter.
This pot was purchased along with a Fox and Fern adjustable plant stand (also available on Amazon). The pot arrived in pristine condition, and I was blown away by the high level of craftsmanship that had gone into it. I like that the pot has a drainage hole and that mesh is included to keep any soil from escaping. Everything was meticulously planned for optimal plant care. The outside of the pot is glazed, but the inside is not, making it ideal for water evaporation (just like a traditional terracotta pot). Overall, my purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
This pot is of good quality - I'd compare it to a Gainey ceramics pot in terms of quality. It's also reasonably priced, considering it comes with a bag of drainage pebbles, a mesh drainage net, and a pad to place beneath the pot to protect your surfaces. A couple of issues - (1) The drainage saucer is too shallow, or the pot's base lacks a high enough beveled base, so the pot takes up the majority of the space in the saucer, leaving little room for the water that will eventually drain into it. (2) The pot and saucer appear to be the same size in the photos, but I bought two pots/saucers, and the saucer is slightly larger than the pot on one and even larger on the other, so they protrude from the bottom, detracting from the streamlined appearance and giving the impression that the pot and saucers don't actually match.
Other items in the box, which will help maximize the value of the planter, were a pleasant surprise. It arrived in extremely well-insulated packaging and is extremely attractive and well-made. In addition, the packaging was excellent. br>br>I'd only offer the company two (very minor) points of criticism. Because I'm not used to planters like this, it would be nice to have instructions in the box on how to use the other items that come with the planter. But it's not a big deal because I'll just look it up on YouTube. The second (very minor) criticism is that there is a lot of styrofoam, which isn't very eco-friendly, but as a small business, I can see how this might be a more cost-effective way to ensure that the lovely planter doesn't get damaged during shipping. br>br>I have yet to place my plant in the planter, but based on the presentation and packaging, I would highly recommend it. If I run into any problems, I'll update my review, but for now, I'm really enjoying it!.
These pots are lovely, but I'm only giving them two stars because, as you can see from the photo, the inside was a last-minute addition. It's just some houseplant mulch from one of my plants at the bottom. If they aren't going to paint the entire inside, at least paint halfway down, so that if I put a plant in there in a plastic planter that is a lot smaller in height and width than this ceramic planter, you won't see the unfinished inside. If you fill up the planter with soil or other material, it isn't an issue, but I want to be able to quickly swap plants/flowers in and out when I want, and if these guys are at a It would also be nice if they came in a slightly taller version with the same diameter.
It was ordered 5 days ago and received by Fed Ex this morning. It is of excellent quality and appears to be quite attractive. A felt pad was included to protect your tabletop or floor, as well as a small round screen to cover the hole in the bottom to keep the volcanic pebbles (also included) from falling into the pot if it was filled with dirt. Because the plant prefers to be root bound, I am simply placing it in this pot with its pot. I'll keep the packaging, pebbles, screen, and felt pad for future use or moves, as well as the form-fitted foam in an inner box contained within an outer cardboard box, both indicating the contents inside.
