We had wind events last year with gusts of over 100 mph a couple of times. As a result of the wind ripping the stakes out of the ground when I covered the car with tarps and car covers, I had a lot of frustration. As I recall, years ago I hammered a piece of rebar into the ground as a temporary stake and I ended up making a mistake. As the season approached its end, I tried repeatedly to lift the thing out of the ground but without success. The rebar will probably be there for the foreseeable future since it has been there for three decades. The rebar style is to keep them from coming out of the ground, so when I first saw them, I thought they would be rebar style. Our first 'Right' wind event has hit us here in the last week, so I ordered them and they were in place when we were hit by our first 'right' wind event. With winds gusting up to 85mph, the cover did not move! I had staked the car cover down using these! The stakes that you should get if you want stakes that will stay put and last are these ones. The results were amazing, and I am so happy with them.
There are rocks, rock-like hardnesses, thorns, trash-like things around here There are clay fillings in the The wood stakes I tried to use to run mason lines for a fence split and shatter as soon as they were hit with a rubber mallet instead of sinking into The stakes I bought this summer were to anchor a geogrid for a gravel pad, and I soon realized that I needed more to complete all the other yard projects I have. These things go into my impossible soil effortlessly and get into it enough to hold very taut mason line. I was planning to use them as stakes as well for my pop-up tent. It's important for me to set up a shelter when It goes without saying that these stakes are among the best we have to offer, so don't hesitate if you think they could be of help to.
These are the wheels I bought to hold down my trampoline. I live in Oklahoma, which means we get some pretty strong winds. After the storm we had the other night, I'm more confident about their strength now. I was a little hesitant to trust them at first, but now I'm a lot more sure. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the top of the trampoline had a narrow opening and I had to have a friend bend the legs out so they would go over the feet.
The stakes we used as ties were used to keep the swing in place. These are easy to use, and since they are buried quite deep, they should hold the swing even when there is a lot of wind. These documents have been delivered within a very short amount of time
and are already in use. So far, they have done well under moderate winds, but they haven't been tested under strong winds.
This was used to stake down a portable garage of 12 x 20 feet. The product is made well and installs quickly.
I use them for my irrigation line in my field. A polygonal frame measuring 5" in height. It is easy for heads to separate from lines when pumping 280 gallons per minute at 75 psi. The product stabilizes heads and avoids blowouts. It fits exactly over the line. It works well in the heat (100+) we're having since the soft poly makes it easy to slide off the As a result, it provides a durable connection to the ground and prevents collapse. Upon ordering more, I will update the inventory.
The purpose of this purchase was to secure the swing set for my granddaughter. Just eight of the bolts were sufficient to secure the legs and sliding frame of the set. The angled holes on each leg allowed each anchor to pass through. The chiseled ends made it easy to pound the stake far enough in to hold the weight. They are 16 inches long, so I am confident they will hold up the swing set for a long time.
Steel stakes with a case hardened surface are they available? If you live in Texas clay, this will work just fine. However, if you hit a rock, it will bend.
