It's awesome to have things like this! Those things are wonderful and I can't express how grateful I am for them
5/5

In our yard, we have peach trees, and my wife tried to convince me to just cover them with sheets. Well, there was a huge mess, and the sheets were too heavy, so they wouldn't stay in place. After losing lots of buds to an early spring and a hard freeze, I decided to buy the bulbs. I knew I wouldn't be able to use them this year, but so what? My plan for next winter was to have everything ready! We were notified of a freeze and frost warning on May 16th as fate would have it. It was very easy for these things to go on the trees. Silk string scrunches up perfectly at the bottom of the tie, making it incredibly easy to scrunch up. The lightweight, breathable socks protect from frost, but allow light and wind to pass through so you can wear them every morning without having to remove them. Attached is a picture of what mine looked like. Of course, they came off the trees very easily the next day since it was in the 60s. This is great! I love it!.

I think it would be better if directions and levels of protection were printed on the package
3/5

The USPS delivered it in three days despite the two-day shipping that I had paid for. It was as if I had done nothing to my plants after applying the covers. They were not advertised for how low a temperature they enabled protection for, so probably some worthless protection at 29 degrees, which is how low the temperature got The temperature dropped to 29 degrees on two nights and to frost on three. In addition to citrus, all my plants were severely damaged. It will be a substantial cover next time. I think it would be better if the product packaging would include directions and a protection level. In my case, it was a waste of money.

Totally ignored our trees and did nothing to protect them
3/5

Snow, hail, and frost are claimed to be protected during cold winter months by this product. It did absolutely nothing for us in Texas as we spent lots of time covering our palm trees with this product! Before the freezing temperatures came, our trees were gorgeously green. After just two hours of freezing temperatures, their tips are brown. Our landscaping was relatively new and we were expecting this product to protect a new lawn. However, it fell short of our expectations.

Product of the Year The system will keep your plant(s) safe
5/5

A Hibiscus plant grows in a large planter for me. During the winter of 2012, Alabama was cold. My sheet had been on top of the Hibiscus. There was too much weight on the sheet, causing damage to limbs of the The Agfabric Warm Frost Blanket is what I ordered. My first night with it was below freezing, and we had several below-freezing nights after. I found it very easy to put the Frost Blanket A drawstring is able to be tightened around the trunk of the plant, and I was impressed. While five days of freezing weather passed, I must say I was amazed at how effective the Frost Blanket has been. My recommendation for this product is strong.

Frost damage not prevented as well as I would have liked
3/5

In New York, it gets cold and snowy during the winter. I noticed that the flowers from my camellia bush always bloom with frost damage, so I am trying to see if these covers can prevent that. It didn't matter how much scaffolding I built around the bush to stop the frost from going through the cover, the flowers still suffered from frost damage. The winter will probably require thicker covers, and we will probably try something else. My hope is that the thin covers will let the sun in and we will not have to take them on and off constantly throughout the cold months.

Protects tropical plants in a very effective way
5/5

Thus, I cover a 6' mango tree with this material to protect it from the damage caused by last year's winter. As well as this cover, I made a smaller (but still weed barrier fabric) cover and installed it at the same time. During the most recent frost, the tree covered in Agfabric was the only one that did not suffer Because the Agfabric bag is so thin, I was surprised at the level of protection it provided compared to the thicker and more opaque bags I made, but the latter did not do what the Agfabric bag It is in my heart to believe. We would purchase again to protect plants of any type, especially those that are young or sensitive. A work of art.

Worked for me, but not for you! This is the third of these I purchased To protect some sensitive fruit trees in my backyard, including a Hass avocado tree that's just over two years old, I bought a 95 ounce weight
3/5

The temperature dropped to 30 degrees several nights in a row over the last week and a half. My avocado tree was completely killed by the cold despite having an avocado cover covering it completely. Although it is more than a year since the cold damage was done, the cover still says it protects to 26 degrees Fahrenheit. I was unable to protect it from this. In the past, I have used old burlap to protect against even colder temperatures and it has worked much better. Anyone who has ever worked in the garden knows how upset I am at the loss of these 2 years.

This kept my heat at a reasonable level It is possible to keep plants alive through the winter months
5/5

It's very hard to find plants that outgrow being indoors. I have a beloved 12 year old asparagus fern, a very loved 10 year old meezoo, and my mother-in-law's beloved kalanchoe. My house was sold last summer so I moved outdoors. Because I didn't want to bring them inside over the winter, I purchased this plant cover to keep them protected. As a North Carolina native, I live under the full influence of the Atlantic winds. In addition to being cold, we also experienced a lot of wind. There will be snow, sleet, frost, etc. The nights will be in the It was a warm morning in March when I checked up on my friends and I was delighted to learn that they were okay! I know they're tired looking and have a little brown spotting here and there, but they survived! Despite still having flowers on it, the kalanchoe is still in bloom. Thus, I would say YES to this cover. Happy to hear that.
