Yep. That's exactly what I'm seeing, as well. To inform the merchant, I sent him a message via Amazon's "contact the seller" feature. On Amazon, he appears to be the sole seller of "Maxforce Quantum liquid ant bait." (Syringes could still be used to get into the gel.) ) I'm curious as to who played the joke on me.
The quantity is zero, as stated in the title of this listing. Imidacloprid Fipronil is present in the maxforce ant bait gel. So they're distinct.
Mine can take up to three days to fully disappear. It has to exterminate the nest, which can take as little as one day depending on the size of the colony.
It is still liquid.

This MAXFORCE QUANTUM 0 has my voice in it. 03% IMIDACLOPRID ANT CONTROL LIQUID BAIT (with 10 bait stations) works really well when.
I tried to make a moat by putting their dishes in bowls of water, but the ants still got in. I've tried almost every product and natural home remedy you can think of. In about a month, they usually disappear. This year will be different. The ant invasion in 2019 is expected to last until November. There have been ants EVERYWHERE for the past six months. Regardless of caulk, traps, and anything else you can think of. They ran the length of the ceiling molding, down the walls, and all the way down my hall to the bathroom. It didn't seem like it was ever going to end. br>br>I purchased this item and placed it in two of the easy seal plastic trays on my bathroom counter one night. The next morning, there was a huge disgusting ant parade, including some very large ants (huh?). ) swarming the bait as they emerge from the ceiling, down the wall, and around the corner. I moved the second trap, which was further away, next to the active one because it was being ignored. Surprisingly, the second trap was never used. Brushing my teeth was disgusting with all of this going on so close by, but I knew I had to give them time to transport the bait to the next location. It continued through the night. GROSS. There were no signs of activity the next morning. In and around the trap, there are a few dead ones. There were no other people in sight. I had also placed two traps on the kitchen counter, but there were no ants anywhere (and they had been exploring all over my kitchen counter, preventing me from preparing food). It's been over four days and I haven't seen anything in the house. Unless they took the day off for Thanksgiving and plan to return, I believe I'm done with them for the season. THANKFUL for this product.
I tried everything: other traps, diatomaceous earth, food bowls inside larger bowls of water, and vacuuming up every line of ants I could see. It was driving me insane. br> There was nothing that worked in the local stores. br>I'm so happy I purchased this. All of the ghost ants were gone in a matter of days, and the design of the pods made me feel safe that the cat wouldn't be able to get into it or be tempted to eat it. It was also nice to have some control over how much poison was used. br>br>August 2020: br>br>Update I didn't have to use it again until this summer after successfully killing ants when I first got it. Ants were drawn in by the siren song of my cat's food. I have the same old original tube that I purchased years ago, and I was concerned that it had become ineffective, stale, or poisonous. After a few years, it was less effective, but it still worked!.
DuPont Avdion was one of the tubes I tried. The ants died, but after 7 days, they reappeared. Ants are gone after 12 hours of spraying with Maxforce. The large queen ant even emerged from her nest and was put to rest. Perhaps the queens do this when the colony consumes the poison. The Maxforce has so far performed admirably. We have no ants after a week of using Maxforce once.
