Questions & Answers
Snails and slugs were eradicated from our yard thanks to Corry.
Three times a week, I water the plants. It's something I do every four months or so. After I've applied the product, I make sure to water it thoroughly. It's fantastic for snails and slugs.
On Amazon, I'm unable to locate the granules. Visit a hardware store or a Wal-Mart. Honestly, I buy it at Safeway (or Kroger's) most of the time.

If you've seen the film Zulu (not Zulu Dawn, which stars Peter O'Toole), you'll notice that the Zulu impis don't get a lot of screen time. Today, they are portrayed as a rapacious and faceless murder horde, and one almost feels sorry for them. I'm not quite there yet with slugs. Slugs have no redeeming qualities unless they are used as a single form to bring humanity together - with disgust Iron sulfate seduces them in Corry's Slug and Snail Killer. They need it to harden their filthy mouthparts, so they have an insatiable desire for it. They will eat themselves to death if they are given the opportunity.
I received the item, which was nicely packaged in a cardboard box. Container gardening is what I do. It's been a week since I spread this product throughout all of my containers (35) and made sure that all of the plant stems were completely covered with pellets. Snails can climb up onto the plants and eat the leaves, so it's completely ineffective. Cauliflower, Cauliflower, Pepper, Collard, Kale, Lettuce, Cabbage - Despite the pallets surrounding the stems, snails can easily climb onto the plants. Corry's Slug and Snail Killer don't seem to bother New Jersey snails. br>At the moment, the most effective method is between 6: 00 a. m. and 7:00 p. m. 00 AM, use a spoon to catch the snails, collect them in a plastic container, and dispose of it weekly. Slugs were crawling in between the pellets today, and I caught 40 of them.
If it rains, it molds within 24 hours, which is a huge disappointment for me. Even if it only rained lightly, I thought it was supposed to last at least a week or two. I'd gladly pay more for sluggo because it lasted so much longer. I was hoping that the different formula would keep slugs away, but it doesn't last, and I wouldn't recommend it for strawberry plants, as it causes the berries to mold as well!.
Slugs were a big problem for me; they were all over the place. I'm not sure what drew them to my location, but stepping on one barefoot in your kitchen is something you never want to do. They were crawling up the house's exterior walls and into my dog's food bowl, which I also use outside. As a result, I made the decision to go to war. I bought two boxes and used them in the back yard, where they were the worst, on the side walk in the back, and in my front garden, where no slugs could be found after three days. Prior to that, I was averaging 10 kills per night. Hopefully, they've returned to the abyss from which they came, because my dog and I were starting to feel like we were living in some sort of H. A novel by H. P. Lovecraft.
Everything has been tried, including putting beer in containers under the leaves. This product was used early on in my defensive strategy against these slugs, and it exceeded my expectations after two treatments. After returning to some of the more expensive products I've previously purchased, I'll be purchasing this product again next year. The only piece of advice I can give is that if you have a lot of shady and wet areas, you're fighting slugs, and if you don't keep up with them, they'll take over. This year's maintenance effort has made me extremely happy!.
After trying the Garden Safe brand and finding it to be ineffective, I decided to purchase this. Cucumber sprouts, sunflower sprouts, and strawberries were all being devoured by slugs. I haven't seen any signs of slug damage since using Corry's. It can withstand rain and lasts for approximately three weeks, which is fantastic.
Only one was created with the intent to kill! I've tried everything- Organic Snail is the name given to a type of snail that is made up Slug "bait," which is complete nonsense! These are simply mineral salts that kill snails and slugs in the same way that "salt" (sodium chloride) does by literally draining their mucous-rich bodies. Moisture bodies in membranes In other words, they die in a manner akin to the horror film (the name of which I will not reveal) in which a person's bodily fluids are drained completely in a matter of seconds, as if by a Vampire attack. br>br>The primary "snail" chemical is metaldehyde. Because the "slug" killer ingredient may be toxic to any mammal that ingests it, it should be used in conjunction with a product like "Critter Out" or another dog, cat, rat, etc. repellent, as pets may find the Corry's pellets appealing. br>br>This has proven to be the most efficient method of controlling Mollusca species! Of course, if pets have access to the treated area, extra caution is required! The use of repellents will undoubtedly be beneficial. At least one product marketed as "Snail Bait" is actually preferred by mammals. I used what I thought would be enough to kill any snails or slugs that came into contact, only to discover that almost all of the granules had vanished! The main ingredient, iron sulfate, is basically a "fertilizer. " This is especially true when watering is done on a consistent basis. br>br>I recommend that you use caution when using this product! Metaldehyde products can be extremely toxic to our pets and wildlife, despite the fact that snails and slugs are extremely toxic to the garden.
I purchased it because of the positive reviews, but I am disappointed. It molds in a day or two, and slugs simply avoid it by going around it. br>I'll give it another shot, but if it doesn't work, I'll probably ask for a refund.
