The handle on the cart was rusted, bent, and cracked, so I could not pull it without bending over. The longer handle and beefier size made towing by hand much easier. The handle is bigger and longer than the one on my cart, making it perfect for my cart. This tow handle can be lowered with a simple pull of one pin and hooked on top of the mower for towing. When I swap configurations, the gorilla cart requires being pulled and then reattached to the mower after the pull handle rotates. It also has two pins that must be pulled and then reattached when it is reconnected to the mower. In spite of her gorilla cart being built to carry larger loads, my wife prefers the one-pin option on the replacement handle. If you're looking for a more user friendly option, this is definitely a good choice.
A model it wasn't made for was the one I bought it You can adapt these handles to any other cart if you are handy. I found it very easy to use. This handle is very wide and we really like it. The material is plastic, so I do not know how well it will hold up in the sun, especially if it is hot. A rubber coating would have been more optimal, however we will see how it turns out. You know how American companies are, it will cost an extra 75 cents to add the coating. It is an American company, but the product is Chinese as usual.
A decent replacement handle for the existing handle, but the hitch pin that comes with it is tiny and difficult to use with one hand. The hole for the hitch pin is slightly smaller than a standard hole. There are only 5" holes on a typical riding lawn mower hitch, so I will need to enlarge the holes to fit the hitch.
The handle fits perfectly with my Chinese version of the Gorilla cart, even though I do not own this specific model. The handle grip is very good and the product is very sturdy. The only thing I would have liked was if it came in different colors besides.
There is no bolt packaged with it, which may seem odd to complain about . that you need the handle but not a bolt? Other than that, it does the job just fine.
This fits only a few of the new Gorilla Carts.
The handle is of better quality than the original. Can't say enough good things about the situation.
