Yes. In my beds, I also have decorative Mondo Grass, which I spray in the spring to cover any brown that has accumulated over the winter. It can also be used to cover brown patches on shrubbery.
To shoes, I say yes. It will be washed away from the feet. It will stain the sidewalk and other surfaces, but I mix it over the lawn to prevent staining.
Yes.
It depends on how much water you use; I did 600sf with it and still have a third left. For the past two and a half weeks, it has been unavailable. It is something that I would suggest.

The lawn that has been struck looks fantastic! I would strongly suggest it. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this product; I was literally giddy at how nice my dead, dried-up lawn looked after using it. I would recommend mixing according to the directions, but spraying a small test area somewhere inconspicuous to see how green it turns out, as you may need to water it down depending on the color of your lawn. We did one application about three weeks ago, and we've cut our lawn once since then, but the dead stuff isn't growing anyway, so when you cut, you're mostly cutting what's alive and growing, and the painted bits stay put. It hasn't faded much, and it still appears to be in good condition. We used a standard 2 gal Chapin sprayer, but the nozzle is now clogged with paint, and the sprayer is no longer functional. As a result, I strongly advise you to purchase a sprayer designed specifically for this job. Also, because it will stain, make sure you use some kind of barrier, such as a flattened cardboard box, to protect the edges of concrete, pots, fencing, and other similar items. Our drought is exacerbated by this. The lawn that has been struck looks fantastic. I would strongly suggest it.
This is an amazing product! When I went to spray some brown spots in the lawn, it completely covered them and blended in so well that it looked exactly like the original grass right next to it. If you have brown areas that need to be greened up quickly, I highly recommend this product.
Face this to my husband for his birthday, almost as a joke, because he loves his lawn more than I do! I'll be damned if it didn't hide our Bassett hound, Natalie's pee pee spots. No, it doesn't exactly match the grass, but from afar, it looks a lot better. The color lasts quite a while.
It worked out exactly as I had hoped. I followed the dilution instructions but didn't use a lot of product. By adjusting the dilution and/or spraying more or less heavily, you can change the color. I used a large spray bottle, but a sprayer for better coverage would be preferable. Following a few waterings, the photos were taken. After the first watering, it seemed to fade, but it stayed the same after that. br>In one photo, you can see the color difference that I could have reduced even more by adjusting the dilution or amount applied. The other is a close-up view of the same area- how visitors might perceive it Green grass (or green weeds) surrounds the covered area, which is completely dead. br>I used it in another area where the grass was brown but not completely dead, and it turned out beautifully. br>To get a decent color, adjust the dilution and test area, and lightly spray nearby grass to blend. I was content with simply improving the appearance of the area until we decided what to do with it.
It rained, but the rain didn't wash away the dirt.
I was a little too aggressive with the weed killer and severely stunted some of my front lawn. I experimented with this, starting with a light color and gradually increasing the intensity until I achieved the desired ratio. I just mow a little less frequently now, so the neighbors won't know. The stuff that isn't growing doesn't grow tall enough to be mowed down, so it lasts a long time.
It is very simple to use the product. To make the coverage last longer, I added an extra gallon. My sister inquired as to what I had done with my yard, to which I replied that it was a great idea. She was blown away by how authentic it appeared. My lawn is mostly fescue, with a small patch of burmuda on one side. The burmuda ended up looking a little fake, but the fescue looked fantastic and was very convincing. My lawn is now the most beautiful in town. If you use this near your concrete, be careful because it will stain it. You don't need to apply it heavily to achieve the desired effect; instead, buy the gallon because it's a better deal. I purchased a quart to test the product and placed an order for a gallon the next day. I mixed just over 4 gallons for a small front yard.
Not as advertised; in fact, it appears to be smaller than the original advertisement. Although it works, there is a significant difference in the way it looks when compared to real grass. It's probably best for brightening live grass rather than dead grass spots.
