Questions & Answers

Is it possible for me to continue watering my lawn?

I don't know how long it will last because I've only had it for a few weeks, but sprinklers and rain haven't bothered mine in the least. I "painted" two large dead areas (with sprinklers turned off) as well as numerous dead spots that DO get watered, and both areas look exactly the same as they did the day I "painted" them about 25 days ago. I've even noticed that new growth is beginning to fill in the dead spots I painted.

Is it safe to use on moss with this product? Of course, it's moss that's dead. ?

I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. It's a spray mist that colors everything it comes into contact with. It's a "forest green," in my opinion, and it would look great with the moss.

Will the white lines on the turf be covered by this?

I haven't used the product in a while, but it worked well and provided adequate coverage. any browned meats grass in the open We use it to brighten up our lawn, which has turned brown or dead due to California's dry winter. It should work fine if you're covering white lines on a sports field.

It's quite effective
5/5

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but this product works well for me. I used about 2 parts product to 4 parts water. 6 parts water in an empty spray bottle. You can easily adjust the color by adding more or less product and water. The color on the lawn becomes lighter as the water level rises. Spray in a fine mist from a distance to make it look more natural and blend in better. In comparison to other urine and brown grass products, this one is significantly less expensive. When used correctly, it is very effective. To avoid spills, mix in the sink, and be aware that it will stain concrete and Belgium curb blocks.

I was completely taken aback! I rarely write reviews, but today I felt compelled to do so
5/5

So I used too much fertilizer and my lawn turned yellow in the middle. I could have waited another week of heavy watering and most of it would have recovered, but I decided to give it a shot because we are having guests over tomorrow, and they know how lawn proud I am and would most likely ask what happened to my lawn. I mixed everything according to the instructions. 1 to 7. Too dark. 1–10% mixed Better. I started with the worst areas and went light at first, moving the spray around as I squirted to avoid overdarkening spots. The patterns should be different every time. When it comes to this, less is more. I only used about 3 oz of the concentrate to treat a 15 x 20 area that was completely burned out. It appears to be great. For a more natural look, I left a speck of yellow. It appears that I only need to give it some water at this point. Instead of ripping out the lawn's heart and re-seeding it, sod. The best lawn product I've ever used, far exceeding my expectations. Nobody is going to say anything except that my lawn looks as good as it always does tomorrow. Nobody would have guessed I had painted the lawn. LOL! Put on your gloves and sunglasses. Best of luck!.

It works, but it takes a lot of effort
3/5

The issue here is that dry, curled-up grass is three-dimensional. Sure, I could use this bottle of dye to turn my driveway green, but not a reasonable swath of dry grass. The bottom stuff will show through if you just paint the top. To reach down and color all of that tangled mess of old, dry grass, you'll need to soak enough of this stuff onto the lawn. It takes a lot of dye to do that. It's probably fine to paint brown spots, but the entire lawn is brown due to the drought. It isn't a low-cost alternative to water. This isn't going to cover 500 square feet of dry grass in any way that resembles a green lawn in any way. Perhaps 100 square feet is a better estimate. Even so, the color is fantastic. br>br> It looks fantastic in the areas that have been completely covered. "How much is a green lawn worth?" you might wonder. "Here's something I'd like to propose: Would you like to sell a large quantity of this? Reduce the price; it will work, but I am not willing to pay the current price.

It's a bit of a pain to apply, but the result is a nice, evenly green lawn
3/5

It does what it says it will do, which is to make the grass green, so it gets a few stars just for that. It also changed the shape of my shoes. Pants green, anything not explicitly protected from overspray, the sprayer itself, the ground where the spent bottle was placed, and the shed floor where leftovers leaked from inside sprayer wand all now have a Grinch-like appearance. like the way you look If only it had lasted longer than 3 weeks, I could've written off a lot of this as carelessness on my part during the application process; I was hoping it would carry my seasonal yellowish grass into spring, but no such luck. The grass looked great right after it was applied, and now that I know what to expect going in, I think it's a good product, just a little too messy to handle. Instead of using my good sprayer, I'd buy a cheap disposable sprayer next time.

I had my doubts
5/5

Is there any grass paint that isn't going to harm your grass? I was hesitant to purchase any of this because it is quite pricey. This brand appealed to me because it came in a smaller package that was more affordable. After someone vandalized a section of our lawn, I only had to touch up a small area. The 1:7 mix ratio confused me at first, but I realized that putting this in a 1 gallon sprayer and filling it to the one gallon mark was the perfect ratio. br>You do need to shack the bottle really well because the solids form a good solid at the bottom, but once I got it mixed and sprayed on the lawn, it was like magic! br>Because this was a darker green than my lawn, I ended up spraying the entire area, which blended in nicely. I wish I'd remembered to take a before shot.

It was better than I had anticipated: This stuff is amazing, so get a bigger size! First and foremost, this is necessary
5/5

It is extremely effective. You will achieve excellent results if you do the necessary preparation work. Second, an 8:1 dilution is recommended. The number one is ideal for dark, lush green grass. You, on the other hand, go through a great deal of it. I bought a small 16oz bottle for my tiny 25' x 25' front yard, and I got about a fifth of the way through before realizing that 8:1 was incorrect. I didn't think number one was the best option for me. I did 16: 1, which is twice as large and appears to be recovering from a scorching summer. In a few weeks, I'll go over it again to darken it up and persuade the neighbors that it's real. Even at the tender age of sixteen, 1. With this size bottle, I couldn't cover the entire 600 square foot yard. I've since upgraded to the 64-ounce size, which should last me two days. Depending on the dilution, there are three costs to consider. br>br>I also rented a dethatcher to get rid of the thatch and raked it thoroughly to remove the good grass before applying the grass. To get the best results, weed and mow first, then use a blower or lawn vac to get all of the yard waste up first. Is it necessary to do the following preparation work: Most likely not, but I strongly advise it. TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL DR; Great product for a'spray tan' on your lawn, but a little preparation goes a long way.

Desperate times necessitate desperate measures, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't in a desperate situation
3/5

unforeseen circumstances When we saw me spray painting my unkempt yard with this stuff, my next-door neighbor burst out laughing. I tracked some of it onto my driveway when it got stuck in my shoes. While the paint on the grass faded after a month or two, the green shoe prints remained for about six months. If the product was cheaper or if we had more of it, I would consider using it again. In terms of front yards, I have a tiny one (it takes me about three minutes to mow it). It took 4 minutes to mow and one bottle left a patchy appearance. Either buy enough to cover your entire yard in the same color or your yard will look drab. I'd recommend two bottles for a small yard just to be safe. However, at these prices, I wouldn't recommend purchasing two because they don't last long. If you know the landlord is on the mend or have figured out the HOA's prowling schedule, it might suffice in a pinch.
