Our next-door HOA is made up entirely of elderly retirees who spend their days scouring the neighborhood for ways to fine residents in the name of "lowering the neighborhood's value. " Our front yard looked terrible after a dry summer combined with a broken sprinkler system, and the HOA police were out in force, threatening to fine us for our eyesore. Refusing to spend money on re-inventing the wheel, I panicked and bought this spray as a stopgap measure. over and over until I came up with a permanent solution br> It arrived quickly, and I was able to spray our entire front lawn with it. OMG, if ever there was a grass miracle in a bottle, this is it! Our crisp, brown grass was reviving in front of my eyes (or at least it appeared to be), and I couldn't believe how natural it appeared.
Tip: Wear gloves when spraying because it leaks, and do it at dusk so your neighbors don't see and wonder what black magic you're up to. When our HOA walking group passed by the next day, I literally saw jaws drop as they were so taken aback by what we had done the night before. Needless to say, we were not fined, and the color lasted for MONTHS until it started raining in the Fall, giving us time to revamp the yard. Everything worked out perfectly as long as they didn't step on my newly green crunchy grass: I now keep a spare bottle on hand in case I need to spruce up the lawn or avoid any HOA nonsense.
Burn marks are left behind by our dog. I'm not a huge fan of Use a lawn spot repair seed to de-thatch them. As a result, bare spots with turf builder can be found all over our lawn. However, before we have a large outdoor party (possibly 3-days), we'll have to plan ahead. To keep our lawn looking as perfect as possible, I skip the thatch (brown grass) and spray this instead. Yes, I've become obsessed with lawns because we spent a small fortune on sod, and my dog is slowly but steadily destroying it. So I completely understand how strange, neurotic, and gross it is to paint grass green. But it makes no difference to me!.
From November to May, the grass on my 10X15' section turns brown. This year, I intend to kill it and reseed it, but I needed the section to look presentable for a week or so. I used a spray bottle to apply the Lawn Star, which I had diluted 50/50. It was dry one day and raining the next. The tint performed well 100%. It took about an hour to complete, but the results are satisfactory.
Wow - This stuff is extremely effective! In contrast to others, I had no issues with the spray bottle. It was a total success. I've got a lot of tall fescue on my property. My lawn is a beautiful dark green because I take great care of it. Every month, some irresponsible jerk walks their dog down my street and allows it to urinate on my lawn. A few weeks ago, I had two large patches of dead fescue as a result of this. br>I was so excited to try this product that I went out and sprayed it as instructed - and there it was - right in front of my eyes. The patches of dead skin had vanished! Wow - What happened to all of this? It's fantastic! I went back to check the patches after a few hours and discovered that the paint had completely dried - I walked around the lawn with my hands in my pockets - Nothing was removed from my hands. I took a walk on it - In my shoes, nothing came off. Then there's the ultimate test: My sprinklers were turned on for 30 minutes the next morning - AND NOTHING WAS REMOVED - The paint had remained on the grass for a long time. br>THIS PRODUCT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - It does exactly what it says on the tin. If you're tired of dead spots on your lawn caused by your own negligence or that of uncaring neighbors - This is a must-have piece of equipment.
We only have a small back yard, and the grass is mostly thick. Except for a small section off to one side that had been ravaged by bindies, it was mostly green. We had patches of brown grass after the bindies were killed. As a quick fix, we decided to use grass paint. Option that is simple. br>br>Using the spray bottle made the job almost effortless. This product provided smooth, easy coverage, but the color is far too different from "grass color" for it to be a good cosmetic fix. br>br>The color is a bright green that is much lighter than it appears. It's a little brighter than you'd expect a grass color to be. It appears to be marginally better than the obvious brown spots, but only marginally so. br>br>I figured that after the sprayed grass had been watered for a week, it would blend in a little better. I've been exposed to the sun and other factors, but I haven't noticed a difference. br>br>I would give this product 5 stars if it came in a few different color options, such as different shades of green that blended in better with the natural color of the lawn. br>br>If you have a number of locations that you'd like to cover, If you want to try it, I recommend doing the entire lawn because it will blend in better, but be aware that this stuff sticks a lot, so make sure you cover any yard boundaries. Because this product is difficult to remove, choose a location where you want to spray.
I got up early to use this product because I didn't want my neighbors to make any comments. Here are a few suggestions: gloves should be worn - Also, pay attention to the wind - the dye stains your fingers, but it washes off with time. I received some blow-up dolls. I'm standing up again. It worked beautifully in both my back yard and patches of my front yard. To keep the dye from pooling in one spot, I used long, sweeping motions. IT MIGRATED INTO MY PRE-EXISTING GRASS AND WAS HARD TO SEE WHERE IT WAS APPLIED! I know it's pricey, but it's well worth it. My next order will be in a larger container, and I'll mix it myself.
