The grass paint in a gallon is the same as in a quart, but it's four times larger.

Not sure. I'm sure it would. It merely coats the real grass's foliage. This is the best time to go dormant. Purchase a smaller quantity to experiment with.
This paint isn't intended for use on synthetic grass. br>br>At the start of the summer, when my grass has turned brown due to a lack of rain, I use this paint on real grass. I can get by with just one application for the entire summer. When the rain returns in the fall, the grass returns to its natural green color, and by the time summer arrives, I've repainted my lawn. br>br>Each summer, I save more than $300 by painting my lawn. It takes me around 1 hour to complete. It took me about an hour and a half to paint my lawn.

However, coverage varies depending on how badly your lawn has been burned and how dark you want the color to be. It's well worth the $95 per gallon plus tax. This year, I easily spent four times as much on fertilizer and other gardening supplies. And if I watered, my monthly water bill would easily be $100 or more. Sooo. I'm going to order another gallon for the backyard! I'm not sure how long it'll stay green, but if I get two, I'll be happy! I'll be fine with that after three months. 11 oz was my weight-to-weight ratio. per gal.
This product and lawn lift are both products that I've used. Lawn lift was much more appealing to me. This isn't as well blended. I would not purchase this item again.
This paint has been sprayed in my front yard in South Carolina for the past two years. It's sprayed as soon as the grass starts to go dormant, and it lasts about 5 months. It takes time and money to get the right color. Only 4 quarts of paint will suffice for my yard. I don't have the financial means to fence in my backyard.
It was a complete waste of my time and money to participate in this. It didn't cover the entire 4000 square foot space. I sprayed my front yard (20x100), used the entire bottle, and mixed it with 12 ozs/gal, and the result is that my yard looks terrible. It still resembles dormant Bermuda grass, albeit with a splatter of obnoxious green paint. It's not even the proper shade of grass green. I'm wishing I hadn't started it in the first place. I knew it was going to be a disaster halfway through, but I kept going. I'm hoping my HOA doesn't slap me with a fine. This is not worth your time or money. I consider myself a craftsman and a capable handyman.
I'm glad I bought four. It really works. I'm glad I went with the 4,000-square-foot size; I recommend spraying the entire lawn, not just the brown spots. As a result, the color will be consistent. Timelapse can be seen here.
This stuff is great, but I had a lot of trouble with overspray because it stains the concrete and sidewalk so easily. I'll put down a tarp or something along the grass's edges where it meets the concrete next time. Regardless, I enjoy this product and am using it for the second time.
November is here: The product is still covering in temperatures below zero, rain, snow, and everything in between.
On our golf course, we used this dye. After feeling guilty about wasting so much water on such a large lawn, I used it to replace it.
