VIVOSUN Horticulture Highly Reflective Mylar Film Roll 4FT X 25FT 2 Mil

I'm extremely disappointed! br>The first 16 feet of the roll were perfect; the film is extremely rip/puncture resistant, and adhesion spray worked wonders on a wall and plywood surface. However, as I unrolled the 17th and subsequent feet, all but the bottom and top of the 4 ft. The roll was made of transparent plastic. I came to a halt about 40 feet into the unrolling process and decided to return the roll. I'm hoping it was just a one-time manufacturing blunder. But it makes no difference. My project must be completed in two days in order for me to be paid!! That is simply not going to happen unless I take a chance and buy a new roll and have it shipped overnight, or if I try a new supplier and have it shipped overnight. If you choose to take a chance on this product, I recommend inspecting beyond the 20-foot mark; I will provide photos.

You can be as creative and playful as you want with this product. (I should have gotten the largest roll, but that's okay; I'll get more when I run out because I keep coming across things that VIVOSUN can make far more beautiful and enjoyable. ) The third photo depicts two small filing cabinets that I purchased to serve as the foundation for my glass top desk. I couldn't bear the thought of two large objects blocking the light and obscuring the view; what is the solution? VIVOSUN should be used to protect them. It is now artistic, beautiful, light-reflective, and enhances the sense of space, as is the case everywhere VIVOSUN goes. I could not be more enamored with this film. It's not something I'd use to cover an entire wall in a room, but it's something I'd consider doing in the future: I can't thank you enough for creating such an amazing product and making it so affordable.

Update: Vivosun contacted me just a few hours after I published my original review. They offered to send a replacement roll without asking for a refund. The new roll was flawless, with no streaks or scratches and an even coating. This roll was also unusual in that the shinier side was on the inside of the roll, whereas the original roll had the shinier side on the outside, indicating that it was a rare manufacturing error. br>br>Original Review: I am now extremely pleased with the product and the excellent customer service. br>br> This product has disappointed me; I bought it because of all the positive reviews and the Q&A. Maybe it was just a bad roll for me. The coating is thin, streaky, and scratched, but the thickness is good and it does not rip or tear easily. A thin, inexpensive emergency blanket that I've used has blocked/reflected more light than this.

I was initially berry impressed with the product, I used about 30 feet then boxed it back up until I needed more, went to get more and after the first 3 feet, the entire rest of the roll was clear film!br>br>Only recommendation I have is to get something like locktite cualk style construction adhesive or liquid nails, sprayglue doesn't hold up to time. br>br>Only recommendation I have is to get something like locktite cualk style So I ended up with about 33 feet of reflective mylar and 67 feet of clear, useless mylar! I was going to ask for a refund, but I hadn't noticed the flaw until now.

I was worried about the quality of these Mylar rolls after reading a few reviews, but I can assure you that they are far superior ( Emergency blankets are more expensive (in terms of dollar value) than regular blankets. a lot more significant than some of these reviews would have you believe. br>br>When I go camping or to festivals, I use Mylar for its reflective properties; it's a cheap way to keep your campsite/tent/van/shade structure cool, your ice chest from melting, and so on. your water is ice cold Wrapping, cutting, and adjusting were all part of the process. Basically abused this material for a week in order to prevent it from being stolen by the desert winds during the Oregon Eclipse festival. Even when we used a parachord net to keep it in place, there was very little rub off. Despite the abrasive dust, none of the cuts we made resulted in more shredding on their own, even when the parachord was rubbed against it. I was even able to roll up the materials we were using. is there a chance of re- It can be used a few more times if necessary. br>br>A fantastic purchase!.

They informed me that the first roll was a manufacturing defect, and I am very happy with this new roll of mylar film. I'm even happier with the level of service I got from VIVOSUN. I intend to buy from them as much as possible in the future because I know they stand behind their products. I didn't notice any streaking, but I did notice that if you're not careful, you can easily get streaks or scratches. You should make sure to unroll the film on a clean, smooth surface. Any abrasion has the potential to leave streaks and scratches. br>br>It's quite thin (only 2 mil thick). It's not particularly thick, but it's surprisingly long-lasting. Some sheets were stapled together using a staple gun. The film didn't tear or come loose even after a lot of tugging and pulling, including stepping on the bottom - Even with minimal contact, there was some streaking/scratching; this film isn't forgiving of scratches. br>br>I'd say it's very reflective, despite the fact that it's translucent. On the other hand, you can clearly see what's on the other side. When looking into a lit room from a dark room, look on the bright side. It has the appearance of a serious limo tint. It's only one layer thick, but it effectively blocks almost all light. It is, however, possible to see through it once more. This movie is also heavily rigged. br>br> It is difficult to fold and prefers to keep its original shape - However, it easily wrinkles. It's a little more difficult to double up when this is the case. However, a single layer allows only a small amount of light to pass through. br>br>With a black poly backing, this film would be a lot better. br>br>As a low-cost option for Mylar film, I would recommend this to a friend. However, I strongly advise you to use the 7 mil version.
