After pellets have expanded to their full capacity, I pour off excess water.
It is true. Having planted these, I have started growing a variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
When wet, the pods are supported by a durable and strong plastic that is durable enough to support the weight and the dome is high enough to let your plants grow to their full potential.
You can do it, I think. The peat pots can be removed from the tray that holds them and the plastic pots can be used Trays have an internal dimension of 10 inches by 10 inches and a depth of 2 inches. There are two plastic pieces that can be adjusted to control humidity in the humidity dome that is greater than 2 inches high

They seem to be thicker plastic than others found It does not fit over the outside of the box, and that is my only complaint. In this way, water leaks from the table all over. In order for this to work, they need to design these with a lid that fits inside the box so that the condensed water can be recycled.
Precision and high quality are hallmarks of this product. Growing plants as a business requires these trays, and they have proven to be an invaluable investment. I have no doubt that these are top of the line as someone who appreciates meticulous detail. This fits perfectly in the 1020 trays, and both fit two cells in a tray. The cells fit in the usual size well. It is extremely clever to have the vents move! I cannot recommend these products If you purchase the 4-pack, just make sure to keep it safe Pack of cards. I thought it was a great deal since it was the same price as the three pack, except it.
Compared with the peat pellets sold by the pellet factory, these sure look and feel like they will fare much better. It is a lid with a higher grip, which will be helpful for starting plants of varying germination speeds. No need to take the lid off and put it back on Make the move early so that half is in front of the rest. I like that it can accommodate both size and can require both at the same time. I dislike the fact that the refills cost as much as the Jiffy filled tray (so thin I have not yet been able to reuse it longer than a season). It's just something to keep in mind. Although I do not save money, I do reduce plastic waste. I will have four less disposable trays to throw away. Besides starter medium, I have tried other starter media as well Although we have been successful with other brands of pellets, we have had the most success with Jiffy.
The generic ones I was going to get at my local store didn't fit my needs so I took a chance and got these instead. I am surprised by how durable they are- In the pictures you can see that I am pushing on the plastic fairly hard and it has barely been bumped. Furthermore, I like how the footprint for each unit is just a relatively small square, about a square foot per unit. You will find it much easier to grow in a small space because of this. A huge advantage of this tray is its high dome, which is slightly higher than a generic tray. The seedlings to be planted have a higher dome and are thus older and more durable. In the next couple of days, I plan to plant vegetable and herb seeds in this with 42mm jiffy peat pellets, and keep this review updated as things I'm impressed with how they're coming along so far. This is the first revision- * I have been growing seeds for six days now. It took three days for the sprouts to appear. I haven't experienced any condensation dripping out at all at the edges of the lid, which is impressive. The lid seems to be keeping the humidity in well.
The parts for the order did not arrive. The number of trays I received was instead 3, not The pellet holder (noted as #2 in the picture) was missing from all of them. I also only received four vent caps to adjust the airflow (each unit needs two), and Amazon only offers refunds if I return the item. There are only a few parts I need Although they seemed well made, without all of the pieces, they will be of limited use.
In this year's planting season I bought seed starter domes for the first time. My first thought was that these would not be very durable, but they were very affordable. As I hydrated the peat pellets last night, I got them out and started them. This mini greenhouse really made a great impression on me. This is a well constructed product and the parts fit together perfectly. Nice to see a small company put together a product of such high quality. Would.
This product holds up well to multiple uses and is strong. Height is another advantage, as it facilitates the use of plant identifiers while also allowing me to stack while still allowing for significant natural As the pellets expand, I appreciate how easy it is to vent and how the tray holds them in place.
The first impression I got when I removed the trays from the box was great. There was an immediate difference in thickness and strength between them and the standard trays from big box stores. Compared to the domes, the moisture vents are higher and As far as I can tell, they are everything they promised These trays appeal to me since I'm tired of buying flimsy trays and domes every year. I found these trays after asking around and looking at the products. My sincere thanks goes out to those who responded to my questions about this product. We are very happy with how things are going so far.
