Are these trays rectangular in shape or square in shape? do not want to know the size of the package. ?

3/16" x 21" An outside dimension of 1/4" is a little on the generous side.

The tray seems quite deep, but how deep is it?

* Two trays are included with each tray. This is 375 inches deep with an additional 50 inches. It is common for the trough design to provide 25 inches of depth in certain areas.

I wonder if I can drill holes in some of these or if they will ?

Good to hear from you Please see the video for images of the holes we drilled into a defective tray. EcoSprout here, we drilled holes into a defective tray we had on hand. Were able to work with them. I hope you have a wonderful day, EcoSprout Team

The jobs would fall into the "medium duty" category
4/5

True Leaf trays are not as flimsy as recycled deli meat trays, which means that these trays are as sturdy Bootstrap Farmer trays, however, are different from these, and unfortunately they don't seem to be available. As this time of year approaches, we move plants in and out of the greenhouse on a daily basis. There is no way that you can pick these up while they have terra cotta plants in them, unless you also have The trays must be moved multiple times, and then the pots must be moved, which means multiple trips. The purpose kind of gets defeated. You can use these if you have an inner structure to catch extra water and do not need to build an outer structure for it. From our local garden center, we can get free sturdy recycled flats that work for displaying, It is possible to use 8 small pots of 6 cells each or 5 sections of 6 cells each. When I use the trays as the overflow, I can gently carry those maintaining the framework out, provided that I don't just carry by the rims of the trays, but instead make sure I use the inner structure of those. As these are thin plastic, I had to train myself to set them down, since I got several paper cuts (plastic cuts) from slid them into position when I pushed them into place. I had to eat about five slices of bloody meat before I was certified! There were a few of these trays that buckled and split when carried full of watered sprouts (no pots) and those are the ones that buckled and split. In the event of any twisting while carrying, they are likely to In some cases, the water does not hold after the split gets bad enough. It's a bummer! It is so sad to see Bootstrap Farmer go!.

I love these tray sets! Compared to the flimsy ones, these are so much better
4/5

However, the quality of these products isn't quite as good as the Bootstrap brand. But at this price, you can't beat it.

Costly and not as durable as it should be
3/5

There is no real difference in the materials used for the I think it is expensive, but my biggest concern is that the channels are not connected. Therefore, water doesn't move from one channel to another and gets stuck in each one once the water level drops beneath A lower price was offered by the orange box store for 1020 trays with higher quality.

There are WAYYYYYYYY bigger ones than the regular Although I was skeptical that these would actually be thicker or more durable, I took a chance that it would be my dream seeding tray
5/5

Moreover, these trays are just what I've been hoping for! 2 trays of well-maintained wells are actually no problem for me The seedlings don't budge or flex when I hold them in each hand, even with water! It's amazing how good they are! My order has been placed!.

We were able to move the trays straight with no problems when standing on them
5/5

Various brands are available on Amazon at a lower price. However, the quality of your experience is determined by the price. The fact that they don't leak, won't crack, and won't twist when I move them is a plus to me. Furthermore, they are standard size and they are compatible with my clear fines as well.

There is one problem with this starter tray It doesn't come with top and bottom covers
5/5

The process of starting seeds is very expensive, however I love it. Passions or hobbies that are fun are good to have. You just need to ensure that the bottoms and lids are purchased. In the starter tray, 15 go on the bottom, 5 go on the top, and only one goes on the bottom. Due to this, you end up trying to even things out because 15 - 15 doesn't equal Item A has five of each! Item B has five of each!.
