VIVOSUN 4 Inch 190 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller, 4 Inch Carbon Filter and 8 Feet of Ducting for Grow Tent Ventilation

This fan is a little larger than I expected for my small tent, but it's also a lot quieter than I expected. On max the fan is noticeable but blends into ambient noise easily enough for me to fall asleep , on medium it sounds like an idle PC, and on low it% The carbon filter has eliminated all odors, and I expect the included carbon to last at least six months. I'd say the ducting is also important for reducing noise, and 8 feet is plenty of length for my needs. This combination is excellent all the way up to a 4x4, at which point a 6" is likely required.

I had a problem with a fan that wasn't working properly, and I was given a full refund. Edit. br>br> They gave me a refund for the fan. I have a lot of Vivosun products, and that was the first one that didn't work. I'll keep buying their product because I'm aware that things can go wrong.

Perfect for my 2x4 tent, quiet, and for $88 it was a great deal. I paid 88 cents for it, but now it's $110, which is ridiculous, but I'd still buy it.

I was getting sick from the VOCs. This baby cleaned the air in the bedroom in under an hour, eliminating the VOCs. I can sleep with it on because it is very quiet. It's incredibly simple to put together. br>br>For the time being, it's just sitting on my dresser, but I'm planning on making it a nice home. br>br>I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I really wanted to go with this package to save money, but everything breaks or doesn't work as it should. br>br>I have a 4*2*6 tent with a fan that is constantly on high and barely gets the job done. The filter br>br> Done was only good for a half-grow. It became clogged as a result of the humidifier. (Yes, I was using RO water. )br>br>Next on the list is the AC Infinity combo.

This system was used with a filter on the inline fan's intake and a 4" dryer vent line running out the top of the closet - I horizontally installed a 4" dryer vent flapper valve. The system appears to be functional. The fan speed is controlled by a variable speed controller. It's audible at maximum speed. However, it is not a distracting volume; it is smooth, and the odor was gone from the closet (12 feet wide, 3 feet deep, and 9 feet high) within an hour of turning on the fan. The fan is controlled by a timer and is essentially a "plug and play" event. The two banjo clamps that came with the kit were used to secure the dryer vent hose to the flapper valve and the dryer vent line on the exhaust of the fan. The filter is a STRONG piece of equipment that does not compress - That means it wouldn't have been secured to the air handler's inlet with a hose clamp. I did not'suspend' the air handler or the filter. They are kept on a closet shelf. To prevent air leaks, I wrapped a piece of duct tape around the filter-to-fan connection point. To keep the filter level with the fan, I used a small piece of wood to support it. It really works. Regardless of how you connect it, Keep in mind that there are only TWO banjo clamps included in the package - Make the necessary preparations. I didn't think I'd ever need another. I'm hoping that a replacement filter cartridge for this setup is available.
